Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire: Final Week Additions to Boost Your Lineup
From triple-doubles to late-season surges, these waiver wire targets could make a difference in your final fantasy matchups.
For those of you still playing fantasy basketball matchups this week, FantasySP is here to help you out.
Here, we will look at some waiver wire options going into the new week.
Waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!
Rayan Rupert - Memphis Grizzlies
Rupert is only rostered in 2% of fantasy leagues, so pretty much anyone still playing could add him.
He's been in and out of the rotation of late, but is coming off a monster fantasy showing, so it's clear why he's on the rise. Rupert tallied 33 points, 10 rebounds and assists, four steals and one block in Sunday's loss to Milwaukee.
Memphis is dealing with a number of injuries right now, and that is likely to continue the rest of the week, so consider adding Rupert coming off that triple-double.
At this point, everyone is an option in all leagues, so consider Rupert everywhere.
Luke Kennard - Los Angeles Lakers
Kennard has shot up to 10% rostered with all the injuries the Lakers are dealing with.
With the likes of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves ruled out of late, several players for LA are stepping into larger roles. Kennard has played 74 combined minutes over the past two games, after playing 28 or less minutes in most of his appearances of late.
Kennard has tallied 22 points, 20 rebounds, 14 assists and one steal in those two games. He had 15 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists in his last game, so it was another unlikely triple-double.
Kennard is a good pickup for the final week of the season as the Lakers limp into the playoffs. Don't be expecting triple-doubles every game, but with so many players out, Kennard's fantasy outlook is definitely higher.
Toumani Camara - Portland Trail Blazers
Camara sits around 76% rostered right now.
He has produced some solid results of late, but he has been kind of inconsistent. Camara had 23 points, four rebounds, three steals and one assist over 39 minutes in his last appearance.
Camara is at 17 or more points in three straight games now. That's enough to try streaming him in any leagues he's available in for the final week of play.
He does enough else on the court to provide some decent fantasy output. Just know that he could also flop and not deliver big, so watch for good matchups and fire Camara up when his outlook appears a bit higher.
Nikola Vucevic - Boston Celtics
Vucevic is owned in about 64% of leagues at this time.
Vucevic has been out for about a month, but he returned on Sunday. He was limited to 13 minutes, tallying four points and rebounds and one assist along the way.
In 13 games with Boston, Vuc has averaged 9.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.4 steals over 21 minutes a game. Boston likely wants to ramp up his minutes before the playoffs, so better results should be ahead for Vucevic.
He's risky to add after his first performance back, but if you need big man help, Vucevic is a pretty good option. Check out all your options and give Vuc a try if there's no other decent options.
Daniss Jenkins - Detroit Pistons
Jenkins is rostered in 74% of fantasy leagues.
Jenkins has been picking up some slack in the absence of Cade Cunningham, who is still out with his injury. It's helped Jenkins become a notable fantasy asset, and he remains a good asset for the final week of play.
Jenkins has scored in double figures in nine straight contests. He's been over 20 points in four of those games, and hit 19 points on two occasions in that stretch.
Jenkins fills up the stat sheet otherwise too, so he's not just a scorer. Consider streaming Jenkins for any Detroit games this coming week. He's got value to take advantage of.
Scoot Henderson - Portland Trail Blazers
Henderson sits around 44% owned right now.
Henderson has been a steady contributor of late, despite inconsistent minutes played totals. He has scored 14 or more points in three straight games, and he can do more than just score too.
His own percentage says he's a better deep-league asset, but again, at this point of the year, look for help anywhere you can get it. If your adds are limited over the course of a week, maybe only try him in deeper leagues, but if you can add/drop an unlimited number of times, then Henderson could be a standard league option.
Henderson has four games this week, so he's one to possibly add and hold all week in deeper leagues. That also makes him a standard league streaming option for four different days.
