The Secret Fantasy Basketball Streaming Gems for Monday’s Short NBA Schedule
Streaming players from two NBA teams with good matchups on Monday.
It's a bit of a short day on the NBA schedule today, with just 10 teams in action. There are also a dearth of teams to stream against, meaning it's a tough day in the world of fantasy basketball for those who are trying to make a late-season push.
I usually give you players from three teams, but due to Monday's restrictions, let's look at streaming players from two NBA teams with good matchups on Monday. We'll focus on the guys who get on the court and are widely available in fantasy leagues. Most stats are from NBA.com.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Memphis plays at the 10th-fastest pace and has the 11th-worst defensive rating. The Grizzlies have hovered around the cutoff for targets in both areas for much of the season, and on a day short on games (and on quality streaming targets), they are a fine group to go after.
The Nets are worse by record and have a bottom-five defense, but they also play at a bottom-five pace, so they don't make our target list despite their woes. Brooklyn drafted five players in the first round last season and are in a rebuild; a high pick this year could help jumpstart that process.
Guard
Demin has missed the past four games with a foot injury and is questionable here. He has had good stretches of play but scored just 14 combined points in his three games before the injury. There's a little too much risk even if he does play.
Traore and Mann are similar players who can score the ball while not usually adding much else or shooting 3-pointers. Traore is the better player and averaged 12.2 points, 5.6 assists, and 1.3 steals in February; he is a decent option who also has a bit of a low floor.
Forward
Both Clowney and Williams have scored at least 15 points in the past three games, with Clowney adding 17 rebounds and Williams five steals in that stretch. They are both inconsistent statistical players, but the recent success gives them a little intrigue.
Wolf is one of those first-round picks who joined the team this year. He averaged over 10 points per game in February and is doing the same in March, but Wolf isn't on the fantasy radar yet unless you are desperate.
Center
Sharpe has averaged close to 10 points and eight rebounds per game since the new year, decent stats for a backup player. His ceiling and floor are both a little lower than you'd like because of his status as a reserve, but there's some low-level intrigue.
Golden State Warriors @ Utah Jazz
Utah plays at the third-fastest pace and has the league's worst defensive rating. They also have a bottom-five offensive rating, showing just how lowly the Jazz have been. A high draft pick and the return of a few injured players might have them looking more functional next season (though that's far from guaranteed).
The Warriors are probably locked into a play-in spot, still able to finish anywhere from the seventh to the 10th seed. A hot finish could move them up to sixth, but that would involve two teams ahead of them playing poorly in the meantime. Golden State would have to completely tank to fall out of the play-in, combined with Memphis or Dallas going on a scorching winning streak; let's just say that's not going to happen.
Guard
Podziemski is owned in close to 50% of leagues and is worthy of consideration many days. In three March games, Podz is averaging 21.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while making at least three 3-pointers in each. With Stephen Curry still out, Podziemski is a strong streamer.
Melton missed Saturday's game with a knee injury and is questionable here. If he plays, Melton is a decent option as a scorer, averaging close to 15 points and two 3-pointers per game since the new year. Spencer is a reserve player who is getting minutes with guys out in front of him, but he doesn't do enough to be a real fantasy option.
Forward
Moody missed the past two games with a wrist injury and is questionable here. He is another guy who has been at his best since the calendar turned to 2026, averaging 11.9 points and 2.7 3-pointers per game in January and 15.9 and 3.3 in February.
Want to hear a familiar story? Santos has been at his best over the past month-plus. He averaged 15.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.9 3-pointers in 30 minutes per game in February and has combined for 36 points, 17 rebounds, and nine assists in his past two games.
Payton has taken advantage of more shot opportunities with Curry out, scoring in double figures in seven of his past 10 games. He had seven points and 12 rebounds on Saturday against the Thunder, but Payton's minutes will get squeezed a little if more guys are healthy.
Center
It has been reported that Kristaps Porzingis will sit out of this game but play tomorrow against the Bulls. Horford has been playing just one game of back-to-backs all season, so we will probably see him play today then sit out tomorrow when Porzingis is active.
Horford had two good performances in his first two games of March, combining for 34 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, and three blocks; it was a bit of a throwback. He hasn't been consistent statistically this season, but Horford has shown he can still put up some numbers in the right situations.
