A second look at fantasy basketball waiver wire adds for the week, featuring Dominick Barlow, De’Anthony Melton and Cason Wallace.
It's time to go over a second round of fantasy basketball waiver wire adds for the week.
Here's Monday's waiver wire story, plus Tuesday's streaming article.

Dominick Barlow: Coming Off Breakout Performance
Barlow is the top fantasy basketball add of the day, up 15.9% and sitting at 33.87% overall.
Barlow erupted for 26 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and steals and one block over 35 minutes in his last game. Philly was down a couple players in that game, including Paul George and Andre Drummond.
The 76ers play again on Tuesday, but Drummond is expected to play - nobody is on the injury report actually. George will of course be out yet because he's suspended.
Barlow is being heavily added today after what he accomplished in his last appearance, but with Drummond back, his role is going to decrease a bit.
On the season, Barlow is averaging 8.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks over 24 minutes a night in his 39 games (32 starts). He's shooting 56.1% overall and is 27.3% on his 3-pointers.
Barlow can deliver better fantasy results when he's playing more, which he will now with George out, but he's not all that consistent. I see Barlow's last game as more of an outlier than a sign of things to come.
That doesn't mean I'm against adding him. I'd be happy to stream him in deeper leagues, just in case Barlow is at the start of a hot streak. I'd avoid adding Barlow in standard leagues, unless you have a couple roster spots to play with and want to take a big gamble on him starring again.
He's likely to be dropped after his production fades, and that could come tonight. Of course, if he delivers again, Barlow will be added in even more leagues, so keep an eye on him if you don't want to add him today, and he goes off again tonight.
De'Anthony Melton: Trending Up
Melton is up 6.45% and is owned in 32.03% of leagues overall.
Melton has been a more steady contributor of late, scoring in double figures in four straight and in nine of the past 11.
On the season, Melton is averaging 11.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks over 21.2 minutes a night. He's come off the bench for all 23 games he's played.
Golden State is down several players right now, including Stephen Curry, so more minutes and production could be ahead for Melton, another guard. With Jonathan Kuminga and Jimmy Butler III out, there's room for several players to step up, and Melton has been of late.
As you can see from his own percentage, Melton is another deep-league option. I'd say there are better options available to those of you in standard leagues, so look elsewhere for help in those leagues.
In deeper leagues though, Melton could be a really good fantasy asset right now. And really, he's an option in standard leagues if you are just looking for a streaming option tonight.
Back to deeper leagues though, I'd be happy to add and hold Melton until his production starts to drop off consistently. I'm actually a bit surprised he isn't rostered in more leagues already after what he's done over the past couple weeks.
Take advantage of things with Melton while you still can.
Cason Wallace: Hot Streak Loading?
Wallace has been added in 5.3% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 35.48%.
Wallace also went off in his last game, totaling 27 points, six rebounds and two steals over 29 minutes in a start. He scored 13 points, but only added a rebound, steal and block over 25 minutes off the bench in the game before that.
For the season, Wallace is averaging 7.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2 assists and steals and 0.2 blocks over 26.4 minutes a night. He's started 37 of the 47 games he's appeared in and shot 42.2% overall and 37.3% from 3-point land.
OKC has a number of good players, so Wallace is more of a secondary option, but he can randomly deliver really good fantasy totals. It's tough to predict when those will happen though.
The Thunder play Tuesday against the Magic, and Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell are out for the contest. Alex Caruso is doubtful and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Jaylin Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein are all questionable with injuries.
The more players there are out, the better the fantasy outlook becomes for Wallace. Even down just Williams and Mitchell, Wallace has a decent fantasy outlook. Add in another player or two being out and Wallace becomes a very good fantasy option again for the night.
Wallace is another deep-league option, but could be a standard league streaming option for the night, especially if a few more teammates miss the game. Only hold him in deeper leagues (unless he erupts again tonight), as there are better standard league options out there for sure.
