Checking out the FantasySP fantasy basketball trade value chart to see which players are on the rise and fall of late.
We are just over 30% of the way through the NBA regular season and fantasy basketball year. Let's take a look at some fantasy risers and fallers as we near Christmas.
We'll keep the focus on notable standard league and deep league fantasy options.
Utilize FantasySP's trade value chart and trade analyzer as you put together fantasy basketball trades this season.
Biggest Risers
After the early portion of the season, there's not a lot of drastic movement on our trade value chart, unless there's injuries or notable changes.
The biggest risers are all somewhere below 2% up.
Memphis' Jaren Jackson Jr. is up a full point and sits 50th overall on the trade chart.
He's on the rise after combining for 59 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists, eight blocks and three steals over the past two games combined. He made 23 of his 36 shots in those two games.
Jackson is a steady standard league fantasy option, but after a couple big games, his trade value is up, so it's a time to sell high on him if you'd like.
Utah's Keyonte George is up to 66th on the trade chart after a 1.1-point increase over the past week.
He's been one of the season's biggest surprises, but he's been on absolute fire of late, which contributes to his value going up. George has scored between 34-39 points in three straight games, while combining for 15 rebounds, 22 assists and two steals in those contests.
It's hard to call him a sell-high candidate, because he just keeps taking his game to a new level, but that's what he is. It's not a great time to buy into George, as he's been elite of late. Once his numbers drop off again, that's the time to buy into George if you expect him to keep delivering all season.
Charlotte's Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller are ranked 85th and 86th on the trade chart right now. Knueppel is up one full point, while Miller is up 1.1 points.
Knueppel has been great in his rookie season, and has scored between 28-33 points over his past three contests. He has 14 rebounds, 19 assists, four steals and a block over those games.
Miller has only played in 11 games this season, but he's starting to settle in, with 25 and 26 over his past two contests. He has 18 rebounds, 14 assists, four steals and a block over those two games.
Both Charlotte players are good trade assets right now, and I could see both continuing to climb the trade chart as the season progresses. Even with their values up, I'd be fine trading for each guy, especially Miller, as his value is still a bit lower with some injury concerns.
Memphis' Cam Spencer is up 1.2 and is 175th overall on the trade chart.
He's been a big waiver wire add this week. The only issue is that he missed the team's last game.
Spencer had 20 and 27 points in the two games before that. He added 10 assists, five rebounds and a steal in those contests.
He's only a trade asset in deeper leagues, but he's definitely a sell-high candidate in my eyes. Sure, he could keep producing at a decent clip, but coming off the bench, he's a much more risky fantasy asset, so I'd cash in on him while his value is higher.
Biggest Fallers
Miami's Kel'el Ware is down a point and sits 105th overall on the trade chart.
He has been all over the place this month. Ware has two games in which he scored 22 points in, and he had double-doubles in those contests. In the other five games this month, he combined for 19 points.
Ware is a decent rebounder too, but with sporadic playing time, his fantasy results aren't consistent at all. It has hurt his fantasy stock, and made him a buy-low candidate right now.
The cost to acquire him wouldn't be anything crazy, but it'd be better than something you could find on the waiver wire, which is where Ware could be trending.
Ware has more value in dynasty/keeper leagues, but he's just not in a great situation right now. We'll see if a trade or roster move allows Ware to get into a better fantasy setup.
No other player who is down one point or more is more than a deep-league asset right now.
Some guys down a full point are: Washington's Bilal Coulibaly, Oklahoma City's Aaron Wiggins, Houston's Steven Adams, Memphis' Vince Williams Jr., OKC's Luguentz Dort and Golden State's Pat Spencer.
