Should You Add Quenton Jackson?
Jackson is up 28.77% today, which brings his overall mark to 45.25%.
Jackson has taken on a larger role with the Pacers dealing with a multitude of injuries early on. After not playing in the team's first two games, Jackson has accumulated 40 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds and four steals over the past two contests.
He's played in four games in total, racking up 52 points, 15 rebounds, 14 assists, five steals and one blocks, while committing seven fouls and five turnovers.
Jackson is shooting 57.6% overall and 54.5% from 3-point land. He is 8-of-11 on free throws.
Most importantly, he's started the past two games, playing 22 and 31 minutes. He was at about 10 and 17 minutes in his first two games of the season.
I understand why he's being added in fantasy leagues, but his own percentage is about where it should top out as. Indiana will get healthier over time, and Jackson should settle back into a reserve role.
He's fine to stream in deeper leagues, or even some standard leagues if the Pacers keep dealing with injuries, but I don't see him as a long-term fantasy asset. He's worth tracking in case he defies the odds, but I'd be ready to move off him if his usage and production falls off.
Should You Add Jake LaRavia?
LaRavia is rostered in 55.31% of leagues after a 26.9% increase today.
LaRavia is another one taking advantage of some extra opportunities with some teammates out. He has a decent chance of sticking as a year-long fantasy asset though, so I wouldn't mind adding him in more leagues.
Over seven games, he's totaled 90 points, 36 rebounds, 18 assists, 10 steals and one block over 201 minutes. He has nine turnovers and 17 fouls.
LaRavia is shooting 60% from the floor and 50% from deep. He is 12-of-21 at the free-throw line.
He has 25 or more points in two of the past three games, and scored 13 points in the other contest. He's been a steady fantasy asset over the past five games really, which lines up with Luka Doncic missing games.
The Lakers are getting some guys back, including Doncic, so it's nice to see LaRavia still producing. Things could change when LeBron James is back, but until then, LaRavia has a chance to be a good deep-league asset and a decent standard league streamer.
I'd prefer to add him over Jackson, but of course, it depends what positions you are in need of. I just think LaRavia has a better chance of sticking around as a fantasy asset.
Should You Add Terance Mann?
Mann is up 16.56% and sits at 28.49% overall.
He has been on a roll over his past three games, totaling 49 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals. For the season over six games, he has 73 points, 24 rebounds, 16 assists, eight steals, 21 fouls and four turnovers.
Mann is shooting 60.4% overall, while shooting 35% from 3-point land. He is 8-of-11 at the line.
He's started every game, but seen his minutes shoot way up over the past four contests. Mann has played at least 22 minutes in each game, and has been at or over 29 minutes three times in that stretch.
Mann can be a sneaky good fantasy asset when he's playing that much. I'm a bit surprised he isn't already owned in more leagues, but his large increase in percentage today shows that fantasy owners are catching on.
He's worth an add in some deeper leagues. If he keeps things up, he might be added in all deeper leagues, and become a standard league streamer, like LaRavia or Jackson.
Again though, don't be afraid to move off these guys if their role or usage decreases. They haven't been big fantasy assets in the past, and it's not likely they get to that level this coming year.
Should You Add Gary Trent Jr.
Trent is rostered in 40.78% of leagues after a 6.69% increase today.
Trent has been a pretty steady contributor over the first six games for Milwaukee. He has 84 points, 16 assists, 11 rebounds and nine steals across 174 minutes. Trent has 16 fouls and five turnovers.
He is shooting 42.4% overall and 38.3% from deep. Trent is 10-of-15 at the line.
Trent has been in double figures as a scorer in all but one game. That could change when Kevin Porter Jr. is back from his injury, but there's still a chance Trent sticks close to his season averages, especially if his shooting percentages tick up, which seems pretty likely.
He's another better deep-league asset, but also has some standard league streaming value today too. Trent doesn't usually stuff the stat sheet enough for regular standard league use, but in a pinch, he's fine to utilize.
Trent should be worth a deep-league roster spot most of the season. Check out your roster and see if he's worth owning over someone near the end of your bench.
Should You Add Mike Conley?
Conley is up 5.49% and is now rostered in 11.17% of leagues overall.
Conley wasn't given a starting spot this season, but is getting some starts already after the injury to Anthony Edwards.
Conley played just 12 and nine minutes over the first two games, before jumping to 24 minutes in game three. In three starts since, he's played 25, 28 and nearly 29 minutes.
He has 37 points, 21 assists, 15 rebounds, six steals and three blocks over his 130 combined minutes. Conley has eight turnovers and 15 fouls so far.
Conley is shooting 34.4% overall and 41.2% from deep. He is perfect on his eight free throw tries.
As long as he's starting or playing half of games or more, Conley at least has some deep-league value. I'd only want to roster him if I had an open roster spot, because I don't see enough value in his numbers for long-term fantasy success, plus I don't see him playing this much when Edwards is back.
Take advantage of things while you can, but only in really deep fantasy leagues.
Should You Add Jock Landale?
Landale is up 5.4% and is owned in 16.76% of leagues overall.
Landale is earning some fantasy attention after a nice four-game stretch. He's scored in double figures in three of those contests.
Over seven games and 165 minutes so far, Landale has 75 points, 37 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and four blocks. He has 24 fouls and seven turnovers.
Landale is shooting 59.6% overall and is 53.3% on his 15 3-point tries. He is 11-of-13 at the line so far.
He's started every game and played between 22-26 minutes in all but one contest. That's not a ton of playing time, but he's done enough while on the court for some deep-league usage.
Again, he's not a must-add player, but for a short time, Landale could be a worthwhile pickup and starting option. Being a center, that probably boosts his value a touch.
Utilize him now while he's in a groove, but also don't be expecting monster numbers from him all season. His role will change when Brandon Clarke and Zach Edey are back in action.
