Physically Gifted Speedster Remains a Deep Dynasty Flyer Amid Plummeting Draft Cost

Dont'e Thornton enters his third season battling for snaps in a crowded Las Vegas receiving corps. Listed behind Jack Bech, Thornton faces competition from Tre Tucker and Jalen Nailor, alongside elite tight end Brock Bowers. His 6-foot-5 frame and elite speed are intriguing, but translating that raw athleticism into consistent fantasy production remains a challenge.

During June OTAs, Thornton was rehabbing a minor injury, doing side-field sprints in a red jersey. He caught just 11 passes for 149 yards on 32 targets last year. Our projections anticipate a similarly quiet campaign, forecasting 13 receptions for 168 yards and one touchdown.

The market has cooled significantly, with his ADP plummeting from the mid-400s in May to a bottom-tier 954 in July. This massive drop highlights his low fantasy ownership. He is a free flyer in deep dynasty formats, but our models suggest leaving him on redraft waivers.
