Week 6 Fantasy Football Injury News: Ladd McConkey, Romeo Doubs, and Defensive Injuries
A pair of wide receivers went down, the Rams lost another kicker, and several defensive starters suffered injuries during Sunday's action.
Let's start recapping Week 6 of the NFL regular season by going over some notable injuries.
We will discuss the fantasy football ramifications of each injury. Let's dive right into things.

Wide Receiver Injuries
There were a handful of injuries to wide receivers. The two most notable injuries were to Los Angeles Chargers' Ladd McConkey and New England Patriots' Romeo Doubs.
McConkey left with a concussion. He has been bruised and battered all season, and was questionable to play coming into the week. He's still rostered in all fantasy leagues, but that could change if his injury woes keep up.
In five games played, McConkey has just 13 receptions for 200 yards across 18 targets. He's played just 45.6% of the team's offensive snaps in those contests.

The Chargers are off next week, so that likely means McConkey will be able to suit up for the team's next game. If he doesn't, that's the point I'd consider dropping him in fantasy leagues. For now, just stash him on your bench, like you would have through the bye week anyways.
Doubs left with a shoulder injury. He played just two offensive snaps, but caught a 42-yard touchdown on one of those plays, so he still delivered for fantasy owners who started him.
He has 261 yards and three touchdowns across 14 receptions and 21 targets on the season. Doubs has played 57.8% of the team's offensive snaps, even after barely playing this week. His fantasy results have been up and down, and with A.J. Brown back, I'd expect more of the same going forward.
Depending on the severity of the injury, Doubs could be droppable in standard fantasy leagues, and maybe some deeper leagues too. The Pats play on Thursday in Week 7, so Doubs might miss that contest, at least.
He's not a high-end fantasy wide receiver though, and should only be held in really deep leagues for sure. We can assess him in standard or slightly deeper leagues depending on how his injury comes out.
Kicker Woes Continue for Rams
A week after cutting Harrison Mevis from the roster, kicker Blake Grupe injured his knee in the first quarter of Week 6. It ended up being very costly for the Rams, and now the team might need to sign a third kicker if Grupe is unable to play in Week 7.
Grupe made a field goal before exiting the game and was injured while attempting a tackle on a kickoff.
It's not a huge deal in fantasy football, but if you rostered Grupe, you may need to find another kicker for next week.
Defensive Injuries
Not many too many other notable offensive injuries took place, so let's go over some defensive players who got hurt. These injuries could impact fantasy DSTs moving forward.
Atlanta linebackers Divine Deablo (arm) and Kendal Daniels (neck) both left with injuries. Two injuries at one position is definitely notable for a team, so be very mindful of things depending on the status of each LB going forward. The Atlanta DST could be one to skip for a bit.
Buffalo safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson wasn't injured, but instead was ejected after appearing to spit on a Raiders' player. Gardner-Johnson could be facing further discipline, so we'll see how things play out for the veteran.
Cleveland safety Grant Delpit left with a concussion. He's been on the field nearly every play for the Browns so far, so if he misses additional time, it could weaken the defense.
Dallas linebacker Dee Winters left with an ankle injury. He has played a good amount for the Cowboys' defense, and had an interception before getting injured, so him missing time could weaken an already suspect defense.
Houston safety Reed Blankenship left with a concussion. He's played most of the defensive snaps, and produced at a good level, so any absence could weaken that defense a bit.
Indianapolis cornerback Sauce Gardner left with a calf injury. Indy's defense hasn't been very good already, and missing their top corner could make matters worse.
Jacksonville safety Antonio Johnson suffered an ankle injury on Sunday. He has been a big part of the defense, so the Jags missing him could weaken that unit a bit.
New York Giants cornerback Greg Newsome II left with a concussion. He has started each game and played most snaps, so him missing time could hurt the team's secondary, and defense overall.
Philadelphia was decimated by injuries again on Sunday, this time to the defense. Linebacker Nolan Smith left with a concussion, while defensive tackle Jordan Davis suffered an ankle injury. The team's offense has been ravaged by injuries, and the injuries to Smith and Davis could make life even tougher on the Philly defense which is likely to be on the field a bunch until further notice.
Tennessee safety Tony Adams left with an ankle injury. He's played a bunch of snaps the past two weeks, started both games and delivered big results, so if he misses time, that could be a negative for the defense.
Green Bay cornerback Brandon Cisse left the Sunday night game with a stinger. He's been a starter for the Packers, and got his first interception yesterday, so if he were to miss time, that could weaken the Green Bay defense a bit.
