Looking over some fantasy football waiver wire targets at quarterback going into week 15.
Week 14 is nearly in the books, so it's time to start turning our attention to week 15. Here, we'll go over some quarterback options on the waiver wire.

Should You Add Shedeur Sanders?
Sanders is fantasy QB2 going into the Monday night game in week 14. He was 23-of-42 passing for 364 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Sanders rushed for 29 yards and a score on three carries.
He won't get to face the Titans every week, but after the injury to Daniel Jones, fantasy owners are going to need help from someone, and Sanders is an option.
Sanders has a pretty favorable matchup coming against the Bears, so there's a chance he shines again in week 15. He's definitely an option in deeper leagues, and the matchup makes him a standard league option as well.
Most are going to try others over Sanders, but after a big week 14 showing and going into a favorable test in week 15, Sanders could finish in the top 10 for a second straight week.
Should You Add Sam Darnold?
Darnold is QB5 going into the Monday night game. He was 20-of-30 passing for 249 yards, three TDs and a pick. He rushed three times for 23 yards in the team's blowout win over the Falcons.
Darnold has been up and down as a fantasy asset over the past few weeks. It makes him a solid deep-league option, but a risky standard league guy.
His matchup against the Colts in week 15 is below-average, although it's nothing too daunting. After a big week 14, and with some injury concerns at QB around the league, Darnold will at least be an option in standard leagues.
I personally like him better in deeper leagues, and will have him ranked outside the top 10, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be utilized in a standard league. Assess your situation and see how Darnold stacks up against some of your other available options.
Should You Add Aaron Rodgers?
Rodgers is QB6 to this point of the week. He helped the Steelers to a big win over the Ravens by completing 23 of his 34 passes for 284 yards, a touchdown and no picks. He rushed for a score as well.
That was his first double-digit fantasy outing since week 9, but again, with Jones now out of the picture, you might need a replacement, and Rodgers has shown glimpses of being a capable fantasy starter throughout this season.
He doesn't play until Monday night in week 15, but he's got a pretty favorable matchup coming against the Dolphins. It's another massive game for the Steelers, and Rodgers will be tasked with guiding the offense to another good showing.
Again, I'm going to have Rodgers ranked outside my top 10 for week 15, but he's at least in the standard league conversation. He will be a pretty good deep-league starting option for week 15, so scoop him up in those leagues for sure.
Should You Add Tyler Shough?
Shough was the next-best fantasy quarterback in terms of his output. He was 13-of-20 passing for 144 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. Shough rushed for two touchdowns and 55 yards on seven scrambles to help the Saints stun the Buccaneers.
Shough has been an above-average fantasy quarterback back-to-back weeks now, and three times in the past four weeks. He's really overlooked right now, but has looked the part of late.
Unfortunately, he has a tougher week 15 matchup against the Panthers. Carolina is a bottom-10 matchup for a fantasy QB, so the rookie will be put to the test.
However, Shough had one of his above-average fantasy showings against Carolina in week 10, so he's got that working for him. Shough was 19-of-27 for 282 yards, two scores and no picks, while adding nothing as a rusher.
The overall matchup says to skip Shough, but that performance says he's at least worth some deep-league starts. With how he's looked of late, I'd say Shough is worth starting in more deeper leagues than that too. I'd stop short of using him in standard leagues because of the tougher matchup.
Should You Add J.J. McCarthy?
McCarthy got back on track this week with 163 passing yards and three touchdowns on 16-of-23 passing. He added 19 rushing yards on six carries and avoided an interception and fumble.
The chance for McCarthy to deliver again in week 15 is there, as Dallas is his matchup. The Cowboys are the most favorable fantasy matchup a quarterback could have this year, so McCarthy will be a popular name in the start/sit tool this week.
I like McCarthy for sure in deeper leagues, and some might be willing to start him in standard leagues for week 15. I won't rank him that highly, but he's at least a standard league option.
Should You Add Jayden Daniels or Marcus Mariota?
Daniels got hurt again in week 14, but he's reportedly going to start in week 15. He's owned in more than 90% of leagues right now, but that might drop after he got injured this week.
If Daniels doesn't end up playing, then Mariota would get another start.
Why am I mentioning the Commanders' quarterbacks? The week 15 matchup is the Giants, who are the second-most favorable fantasy test a QB could have.
In week 1, Daniels went over 20 fantasy points against the Giants. I'd expect something similar in week 15, if he can get through the contest.
Mariota wouldn't have nearly as high a fantasy outlook as Daniels, but if he ends up starting, he'll at least be a good deep-league starting option.
Watch Daniels' injury status and check back later in the week to see where we rank and view the Washington starting QB.
Should You Add Jaxson Dart?
On the other side of the field will be Dart, who got a week off with the Giants on a bye in week 14.
He did not play back in week 1, but has been a pretty good fantasy asset since taking over as the Giants' starting quarterback.
The Commanders are another really good fantasy matchup, so the dual-threat Dart will have a nice fantasy outlook in week 15.
Dart is available in a good amount of leagues after a so-so showing in his last game, and after being on a bye this past week. Take advantage of that and scoop him off the waiver wire.
Dart is a very good deep-league option, and he'll be in the standard league conversation for week 15. He's probably my favorite waiver wire pickup that we discussed in this article, and he also tops this last option.
Should You Add Kirk Cousins?
Cousins was not good in the team's lopsided loss to Seattle in week 15. He completed half of his passes for 162 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
That came after two pretty solid fantasy outings in a row, so that was a bummer.
However, things are looking up for him, as he's got a great matchup in week 15 against the Buccaneers. It's another top-five fantasy matchup for a QB.
The teams met back in week 1, and Cousins did not play in that one. Tampa Bay will be fighting for its playoff life, so don't read too much into the favorable matchup.
I do see Cousins bouncing back from a bad week 14 showing and being a good deep-league fantasy option this coming week. I'd avoid him in standard leagues though.
