Week 6 Thursday DraftKings DFS Lineup: Going Heavy with Eagles, Including Dallas Goedert and Jalen Hurts
Morgan puts together a DFS lineup for the Thursday game between the Eagles and Giants.
After doing breakdowns of the top fantasy football players for the Eagles and Giants, let's put together a DraftKings lineup for the Thursday night game.
This will be another six-player lineup, with a captain and five flex spots. The captain spot costs 1.5 times as much as their usual salary, but also earns 1.5 times the points.
Buckle up for this one, because this is a wild lineup.

Captain - Jake Elliott ($7,500)
I'm not a big fan of the fantasy assets for the Giants, and with the Eagles' top options being pricey, I got creative and decided on a kicker in the captain spot.
Elliott will be good for a few points at least, and ideally, the Eagles' offense moves the ball, but breaks down before the end zone. A couple field goals could have Elliott as the top fantasy scorer in this game, as crazy as that sounds.
He's averaged seven fantasy points per game, so a double-digit outing should be very likely.
Flex - Jalen Hurts ($11,000)
I debated between Saquon Barkley and Hurts here, but thought Hurts was the safer option.
He averages 21 fantasy points per game, while Barkley is at just 16.1 so far. On a shorter week, it'd make sense for the Eagles to protect Barkley, who is also working through an injury.
I just need Hurts to score the touchdowns on the ground, and I'll be set up pretty well.
Flex - Cam Skattebo ($10,000)
Skattebo is my favorite fantasy asset on the Giants tonight, so why not add him to my lineup?
He's averaged 13.9 fantasy points per game, and that's while putting up 2.9 points in week 1.
If he continues to lead the backfield and maybe finds the end zone a time or two, I'll be sitting pretty with this lineup.
Flex - DeVonta Smith ($9,600)
I wanted to take A.J. Brown, as I think he gets rolling tonight, but I didn't quite have enough money to make it work. So, I added the Eagles' No. 2 receiver Smith, who averages more fantasy points (12.2) than Brown (9.5).
As long as Smith can outproduce Brown, that will put my lineup in a good position.
The matchup is really good, so maybe the Eagles can get their passing game going finally. Now I just need Hurts to find Smith early and often.
Flex - Dallas Goedert ($6,400)
I had just enough salary to take Goedert. Another option was to take Barkley, then get the Giants' TE Theo Johnson.
Goedert has been a better fantasy asset than Johnson, averaging 13.1 points per game to just 8.6 for Johnson. Both have been pretty touchdown dependent.
I have more faith in the Eagles' offense, so it makes sense to go with Goedert and Hurts over Barkley and Johnson. Let's hope the move pays off for me.
Flex - Eagles DST ($5,400)
I wrapped up my lineup by taking a D/ST. I went with the Eagles, because I think Philly will win this game.
It helps that the Giants are led by rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and are down several offensive weapons, so the Eagles' defense should shut them down.
A couple takeaways and sacks would really help. The D/ST averages 7.4 points per game so far.
Final Thoughts
This is a really weird DFS lineup, but it turned out that way to get what I believe to be the best fantasy assets into my lineup.
I'd have loved to add in Barkley, but Hurts just made more sense to me. You could reconfigure this lineup with Barkley instead of Hurts, but then you are worse off at tight end, having to settle for Johnson instead of Goedert.
I think this is the best possible DFS lineup I could have come up with. I don't love the final result because a kicker is my captain, but these are exactly the kinds of lineups that can turn into winners by the end of the night.
There really are a ton of different routes you could take with a DFS lineup tonight, so if you don't like the look of mine, put one together and see if you can finish higher than me.
Best of luck in week 6 of the fantasy season, and with your DFS lineups this week! Keep checking back to FantasySP for more fantasy football coverage throughout the week
