Week 4 Thursday DraftKings DFS Lineup: Trey McBride and Jaxon Smith-Njigba Lead the Way
Morgan puts together a DFS lineup for the Thursday game between the Cardinals and Seahawks.
A new week of NFL action is nearly upon us!
After taking a look at fantasy football outlooks for the Cardinals and Seahawks yesterday, let's put together a Thursday night DraftKings lineup for the game.
It will feature six players: a captain (worth 1.5 times as much, but also scoring 1.5 times more) and five flex players. Let's see what we can do!

Captain - Trey McBride ($14,700)
There were several guys I considered for the captain spot, but McBride was the cheapest, so I decided to save a few bucks by selecting him.
He's been good over the first three weeks, hauling in 17 receptions for 182 yards and a touchdown. McBride has a stellar matchup tonight, and I see him delivering big results in the end.
As long as he leads the Cardinals' offense, and maybe finds the end zone, this should be the right pick for the captain slot.
Flex - Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($11,000)
I wanted to take Smith-Njigba in the captain slot, but he just cost too much when you multiplied his salary by 1.5.
He's been stellar in the early going, racking up 323 yards and a touchdown on 22 receptions. He's had at least 96 yards in each game, and should lead the way for Seattle again tonight.
The matchup is also pretty favorable, so that's another reason why I felt that I needed to have JSN in my DFS lineup.
Flex - Tory Horton ($5,800)
I needed to start saving a little money somewhere, so Horton was me doing just that.
He has delivered good numbers over the past two weeks, accounting for all 64 yards and eight receptions he has on the season. Horton caught a touchdown pass in each game, which means his salary is on the rise. He was significantly less than Cooper Kupp, so I decided to take a gamble on Horton.
I'm hoping that he will continue to remain somewhat involved, and if he scores again, that'd really put this lineup in a great spot. Horton was a great fantasy asset last week because he returned a punt for a touchdown - if that happens again, then I'm probably going to be in the money.
Flex - Seahawks D/ST ($4,000)
This is the first time I've taken a D/ST in one of these DFS lineups this year. It makes plenty of sense, for several reasons.
For one, the Seahawks' D/ST has been good so far, averaging 12.7 points per game on DraftKings. They have five interceptions, six sacks and a couple touchdowns. Scoring again is a big ask, but if they can create a couple takeaways, have a couple saves and not allow many yards or points, I should get a good fantasy score from them.
Being a cheaper option too made it a no-brainer pick for this DFS lineup.
Flex - Kenneth Walker ($10,400)
Walker is a splurge again, but coming off two strong showings in a row, I think it's actually a good value.
He has 163 rushing yards and three scores on 39 attempts across three games. Walker has 143 of those yards and all three of the scores over the past two games. He has 25 receiving yards on two catches and targets over the past two weeks.
Zach Charbonnet figures to be back out there after missing week 3 with an injury, but I still expect Walker to lead the Seattle backfield in what is a pretty favorable matchup. If Walker can score any touchdowns that JSN or Horton doesn't, and nobody else scores, I'm liking my chances with this lineup.
Flex - Emari Demercado ($3,800)
For my final spot, I took Demercado, who is the new No. 2 back in Arizona, most likely. James Conner is out for the season, and Trey Benson figures to lead the backfield, but he was too pricey.
Demercado has just two rushing attempts on the year, gaining no yards. He failed to haul in his lone target - all of that happened last week.
While Benson is expected to power the backfield, what if Arizona still gives Demercado several touches tonight on a short week? On the off chance that happens, it's worth trying Demercado tonight.
Final Thoughts
I'm not sure I could have assembled a better lineup for tonight's game.
I have McBride and Smith-Njigba to lead the way, who are the best fantasy options for each team, and the most-likely top fantasy scorers.
Walker should be another player I can count on for double-digit points. The Seattle D/ST could be a sneaky good play, as could Horton.
Demercado is more a shot in the dark, but even if he adds a few points, I'd like my chances of this DFS lineup excelling tonight.
