10-Team PPR Fantasy Football Mock Draft from 7th Position | Jonathan Taylor, Mike Evans and More
Morgan conducts his eighth fantasy football draft of the year, selecting seventh in a 10-team PPR setup.
With fantasy football draft season heating up, you're going to see me doing more mock drafts.
Today, I wanted to do a redraft mock draft through the FantasyPros simulator - I've only done dynasty drafts there so far, but it's good to switch things up, as different sites can lead to different results.
This 10-team PPR setup will be conducted from the seventh pick. The roster is as follows: one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, seven bench spots and no defense/special teams or kicker spots.
Let's dive in!

Round 1 - Malik Nabers
In round 1, I decided to go with Nabers, over guys like Puka Nacua and Amon-Ra St. Brown. They are all great picks, but Nabers might have the highest fantasy upside of the trio.
He starred as a rookie, and that was without a good quarterback in New York. With more stable options this season, I could see Nabers really going off as a fantasy asset.
Round 2 - De'Von Achane
I was tempted to take Brian Thomas Jr. and have an elite fantasy wideout duo, but decided that running back was the better choice. Achane made the most sense at his pick.
Achane is a good PPR asset, and should be a top-end fantasy asset again in 2025. I like the Dolphins' offense bouncing back in 2025, and Achane will be the top fantasy player for them, so he can help power my squad.
Round 3 - Jonathan Taylor
I had my pick of RBs here, including Chase Brown and Kyren Williams, but I decided to switch things up and take Taylor.
Healthy, Taylor is one of the top fantasy players in the game. He should star for a Colts' offense lacking a ton of proven pass catchers, or a legitimate quarterback for that matter. Taylor is a bit of a risky pick, but again, he's a fantasy stud when healthy, so I like him in round 3.
Round 4 - Mike Evans
After taking a bit of a risk on Taylor, why not back that pick up with one of the safest picks out there in Evans.
He's about as consistent a fantasy performer as there is in the league. There's a ton of wideouts in Tampa Bay, but I still expect Evans to lead the way and be locked into a starting role all season. It's always a relief when you can add guys like this to your squad.
Round 5 - Joe Burrow
I've written about how I don't love a ton of players near this round, so now is when I'll take a swing on a quarterback or tight end. Here, I got Burrow.
He was stellar last season, and should be in for another monster showing in 2025. The Bengals' offense is going to be elite, and Burrow will deliver top-five fantasy QB numbers again as a result.
Round 6 - James Conner
I really didn't need a running back, but I love the value Conner provides here. He's a weekly starter, and is my flex guy, meaning I'm set at running back.
Plus, with Taylor's injury concerns, getting another option to possibly replace him just made too much sense. I'd advise all fantasy owners into looking at Conner near this point of the draft, as the draft value is stellar and he has the chance to be a weekly starter.
Round 7 - Sam LaPorta
I debated taking LaPorta last round, so I was thrilled to see him still available here. I really think there's value in getting him in the middle rounds, especially if he falls as far as he did with me here.
I expect a bounceback season from him, and now I'm set at tight end until the final rounds. I'm not all that worried about his current injury, but will protect him just in case that lingers.
Round 8 - Stefon Diggs
I decided to take a gamble on Diggs here. He's coming off a major injury, but should be the Pats' top pass catcher.
He could easily outperform this draft slot by the end of the season, and as my third wideout, it's a favorable gamble in my eyes. I'll still back him up with another viable option, but if Diggs excels early, it opens possible roster moves.
Round 9 - David Njoku
I was hoping Aaron Jones would fall to this slot after passing on him in round 8. Instead, I had to pivot, and I decided on a second tight end.
Njoku could easily outperform this draft slot as well, and he's insurance in case LaPorta is more of an average fantasy option again. If LaPorta excels like I expect him to, then Njoku becomes a flex option or trade bait.
Round 10 - Rome Odunze
Odunze has been atop the player list for several rounds, so I'm going to stop his slide here. There's tons of pass catchers in Chicago, and I really don't know who is going to shine.
Odunze could be the one who delivers the best fantasy season, so why not gamble on that here in the middle-to-late rounds? As a secondary wideout on my team, it's an OK risk to take.
Round 11 - Matthew Golden
I keep ending up with Golden in all the mock drafts I do. That should tell you how much I like the rookie.
I actually trust him over Odunze, and probably will be starting him week 1 instead of Diggs. I think Golden will emerge as the Packers' No. 1 wideout right away and become a top-end fantasy option in a hurry. It was a needed pick, and really makes me feel good about my wideouts.
Round 12 - Austin Ekeler
Running backs have been flying off the draft boards, so before they are all gone, I decided to add one here in Ekeler.
He's a solid PPR asset and could have flex starting upside throughout the season. Ekeler is just a depth option, but could take on a bigger role with an injury to Brian Robinson (a player who has dealt with injuries over his career), so the pick is justified in my eyes, even if I'm reaching a bit.
Round 13 - Isaac Guerendo
Man, the backs have really depleted in a hurry. I decided to take another No. 2 guy here in San Fran's Guerendo.
Of course, Guerendo has the oft-injured Christian McCaffrey ahead of him, so that's enough reason to spend a late-round pick on Guerendo. I think he could carve out an offensive role anyways, as the Niners look to preserve CMC for a full season.
Round 14 - Jared Goff
I really didn't need a quarterback, but Goff doesn't deserve to go undrafted, so I'm taking him as possible trade bait.
He has weekly starting upside, and that could become valuable and help me land some depth if I run into injuries at any point. Goff is a great backup in case Burrow gets injured, and I didn't have to spend a very high pick on him.
Round 15 - Kyle Pitts Sr.
I really had no glaring needs, so I decided to take a bigger name player with some possible trade value as the season gets rolling.
LaPorta is already dealing with an injury, and Njoku has dealt with injuries over his career, so this is a little assurance that I'm always set at the position. Should Pitts finally take off this season, I could package him with a guy like Goff to get another running back or wide receiver if needed.
If Pitts flops again, then I simply just drop him.
Final Thoughts
I felt pretty great about this mock, but I was graded as a B- by FantasyPros. That ranked sixth overall, but I'm very close to the fifth slot.
It docked me pretty good for drafting Burrow when I did. It wanted me to take Chuba Hubbard instead, but I'm happier with the top-three backs I got.
I didn't have any bad bye week issues. Ekeler and Guerendo were both sleeper picks, while Goff was my biggest steal.
I'm happy with Burrow and Goff as my quarterbacks, and really don't have to worry about anything, unless Burrow gets hurt and Goff underperforms.
Achane, Taylor and Conner as a starting running back trio is one I love. Ekeler and Guerendo aren't the best backups if my starters went down, so that's maybe one small issue.
Nabers and Evans are a nice 1-2 fantasy wideout duo. Diggs, Odunze or Reed are either good No. 3 options or flex starters.
LaPorta, Njoku and Pitts at tight end makes that a position of strength, and one to get creative with. Any could be trade bait, and could help me add another weekly starter at another position.
Overall, I'm thinking I'll be in the playoff hunt, and if I'm able to avoid injuries to too many guys or the top picks, I'd like my chances come playoff time. It's maybe not my best 10-team mock, but I'm happy with it still.
