Top 2022 NFL Season-Long Player Props

Will Desvallees Sep 2nd 3:12 PM EDT.

Do you think Aaron Rodgers will have 4,000+ passing yards without Davante Adams in 2022? Will Jonathan Taylor go for at least 1,500+ rushing yards this season? With the NFL season ready to kick off, there are some major season-long betting props for certain players to take advantage of before Week 1 begins. Here are five season-long props for NFL Players we think you should consider.

QB Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers - Over 3950.5 Passing Yards ( -112 , FanDuel)

Despite the downgrade to the Packers’ receiving corps this offseason, Aaron Rodgers is still, well, Aaron Rodgers. His ability to throw the ball accurately and land it to his receivers was not dependent of WR Davante Adams’ abilities as a pass-catcher. Certainly, Adams’ catches everything thrown his way. But a WR is nothing without the QB, not the other way around. Green Bay will still have a decent group of wide receivers including Allen Lazard in addition to rookies Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. Ultimately, the Packers have enough depth and athleticis among their receivers in 2022 to help Rodgers produce at least 4,000 passing yards this season.

RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts - Over 1350.5 Rushing Yards ( -142 , FanDuel)

Jon Taylor was the best running back in the NFL last season. In 2021, Taylor produced an impressive1,811 rushing yards. This season, he could rush for 461 yards less and still cover this bet. As a rookie, Taylor averaged 77.9 yards per game in 2020. He then averaged 5.5 yards per carry and 106.5 rushing yards per game last year. He is the pillar of the Colts’ offense moving forward and it looks like not much can get in his way. The Colts' star running back should easily have 1,351+ rushing yards to cover this generous season-long prop offered by FanDuel Sportsbook.

WR Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams - Over 1275.5 Receiving Yards ( -112 , FanDuel)

Similar to Taylor, Cooper Kupp went above and beyond last season, ultimately earning him NFL OPOY honors. In 2021, Kupp had 145 catches for 1,947 receiving yards, earning him the No. 4 spot in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2022 list. Last season he led the NFL in receptions, yardage, and receiving yards per game (114.5 Y/G). He also has Matthew Stafford throwing him the ball now for the second year in a row. The good news is that the two have developed a lot of chemistry after Stafford’s first season with the Rams. Heading into 2022, this QB-WR duo should be one of the most synchronized in the NFL. Kupp will have another monster year catching the football, and he should easily eclipse 1,300+ yards on the season. Like the Jonathan Taylor prop above, this season-long prop from FanDuel for Cooper Kupp’s 2022 yardage seems like a no-brainer.

RB Rashaad Penny, Seattle Seahawks - Over 749.5 Rushing Yards ( -105 , BetMGM)

With RB Chris Carson out of the picture in Seattle as a result of a serious neck injury, Rashaad Penny is now the team’s best option at the position. Last season, Penny had exactly 749 rushing yards but missed seven games for the Seahawks and was the starting running back in just six games. He averaged an impressive 6.3 yards per carry and 74.9 yards per game in 2021. If he starts in nearly all of the Seahawks’ games this season, he should shatter his yardage from last season. This is especially the case because of the Seahawks' downgrade at QB this offseason. In 2022, either Drew Lock or Geno Smith will start for Seattle. Penny should have an amazing season this year and absolutely exceed 749.5 rushing yards.

QB Zach Wilson, New York Jets - Under 3750.5 Passing Yards ( -115 , DraftKings)

Zach Wilson fractured his kneecap in training camp and is expected to be out for the first two-to-four weeks of the 2022 regular season. As a result, the Jets will be starting Joe Flacco at QB to kick off the season. Realistically, Wilson might not be back until Week 5 or 6. If he misses the first few games of the regular season, there is no chance that Wilson hits 3,751+ passing yards. In 2021, he started 13 games for the Jets to produce 2,334 passing yards. Although it was his rookie season, he threw more picks than touchdowns, and only completed 55.6% of his passes. Even if Wilson started in all 17 games for the Jets this season, it’s difficult to picture him exceeding 3,500 passing yards this year.
