Tristan da Silva - Orlando Magic
Da Silva is rostered in about 74% of fantasy leagues right now. He was sitting over 81% owned yesterday.
Da Silva has picked up some slack over the past few weeks with Franz Wagner and Jonathan Isaac out for the Magic. Da Silva hasn't been super consistent, but he was delivering enough most nights for ownership in all deeper leagues and a good amount of standard leagues.
In the past two games, Da Silva has combined for 20 points - he was in double figures in the three games before that, combining for 60 points. Da Silva has six rebounds, two assists and one block over the past two games. He was at 19 rebounds, seven assists and steals and three blocks in the three games before that combined.
He continues to start for Orlando, but his inconsistency makes him more of a streaming asset than a fantasy player to hold. Keep and eye on Da Silva's production and add/drop him as you see fit.
Bennedict Mathurin - Los Angeles Clippers
Mathurin is down to 91% rostered. He was at about 95% rostered yesterday.
He is out the next three games - Mathurin's injury designation is “injury management.” If he's not playing, then he's not worth owning in all fantasy leagues.
Mathurin has averaged 19.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks over 30.1 minutes in his 16 games played for the Clippers. That's up from what he did with the Pacers, despite playing a bit less per game.
It's tough to not have Mathurin for the next couple games, and if you don't have an IR spot to store him in, he's droppable in a lot of standard leagues. Be ready to add him back when he's cleared to play again, because he's been a good fantasy asset with LA, especially of late.
Jarrett Allen - Cleveland Cavaliers
Allen is rostered in 94% of fantasy leagues right now. He was owned in most leagues as of two days ago.
Allen has a knee injury and has not played since March 3. Fantasy owners are apparently fed up with his absence and are now dropping him in standard leagues.
When active, Allen is a pretty good fantasy asset. He averages 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1 steal and 0.9 blocks over 27.5 minutes a game.
Again, if there's no IR spot to stash him in, then Allen is droppable. Fantasy owners need all they can get out of players as the fantasy playoffs are happening, so it makes these otherwise must-own players droppable at the most critical juncture of the fantasy season.
Watch Allen's status and be ready to add him back when/if he's cleared to play.
Grayson Allen - Phoenix Suns
Allen is owned in about 85% of leagues at the moment. That's down 3% from yesterday.
This Allen has a knee injury as well. It forced him to miss Tuesday's game, and he's listed as day-to-day.
Allen has missed three of the team's past six games, so his fantasy owners are over him missing contests. The hard part of dropping him is that he's been a good fantasy asset when healthy this season.
Allen is averaging 17.2 points, 4.1 assists, 3 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.3 blocks over 29.8 minutes a game in his 44 games played. There's enough fantasy production in those numbers to utilize him in most leagues when he's active.
Watch his status and stream him when he's available down the stretch.
Ausar Thompson - Detroit Pistons
Thompson sits at 94% rostered at the moment. He was closer to 96% earlier this week.
Thompson has missed time of late, but he's actually played the past two games. He just hasn't done much in those contests, so he's being dropped as a result.
Thompson has tallied 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal and block over those two games. He's played 24 and 27 minutes, which is enough for some good fantasy production.
Thompson just hasn't done enough in those games to warrant still being owned in all leagues. He's not droppable in deeper leagues, but he is in some standard leagues.
Keep tabs on him and add him back (if he's available in your league) if he bounces back ever. If his stats continue to be lackluster though, Thompson will be dropped in more and more standard leagues.
