Yankees Toss Around the Idea of Judge Batting First
The New York Yankees will start the 2018 season with a new manager and a new batting order.
Manager Aaron Boone has been tossing around all different options for his players and the final batting order. He hasn't committed to an order yet, but isn't opposed to heavy hitter Aaron Judge taking the lead off spot. Judge had an impressive rookie season with an OBP of .422 and set a rookie record of 127 walks.
Judge is open to batting first, last or anywhere in between. Helping the team succeed and having a solid season is what he cares about.
The Yankees ended up having an impressive end to their season last year, and Judge was thrilling to watch the entire time.
