William Eklund | Fantasy Outlook
William Eklund remains sidelined with lower-body injury against Flyers
William Eklund remains unavailable for the Ottawa Senators tonight as he continues to recover from a lower-body injury suffered on October 8. His official 'Out' designation and stint on injured reserve have caused his fantasy start rate to plummet to just 3%, alongside a steep decline in overall rostership. Ottawa visits Xfinity Mobile Arena to face the Philadelphia Flyers as slight road favorites in a moderate scoring environment, with Dan Vladar (unconfirmed) expected in net for Philadelphia. While the first-place Senators (6–2–0) are rolling, fantasy managers will have to manage without Eklund's secondary scoring punch for this road tilt.
With Eklund officially ruled out, our daily projection anticipates zero fantasy points, accompanied by a low point expectation, no shot volume, and no power-play opportunities tonight. Looking at Ottawa's four-game weekly slate that concludes this weekend, our data projects zero total fantasy points across the stretch as he continues his recovery. Until there is positive news regarding his return to practice and active game status, he offers no current fantasy utility. Managers should maintain him in an injured reserve spot or look to the waiver wire for healthy skaters. Today’s action: Bench.
