Shifting Depth Chart Roles Keep Tyler Allgeier in a Premier Handcuff Tier

Following his move to Arizona, Tyler Allgeier finds himself in a secondary role after the Cardinals selected rookie Jeremiyah Love high in the draft. Operating as the primary backup ahead of James Conner, Allgeier remains a vital piece of this backfield rotation.

Our projections expect Allgeier to handle 105 carries for 447 rushing yards and four touchdowns. While he possesses the efficiency to make the most of limited touches, his ceiling is capped unless he can carve out a larger share of the goal-line work.

His draft stock has steadily declined over the past month, with his PPR ADP sliding from 116 down to 124. This drop makes him an intriguing late-round bench target. At this deflated market price, our models view him as a premier handcuff option with massive path-to-volume upside.
