Jonathan Ericsson Out Until May
The Detroit Red Wings have placed Jonathan Ericsson on injured reserve after he fractured his wrist the other night.
Ericsson will undergo surgery sometime this coming week and is expected to miss at least the next 12 weeks. The Red Wings are hoping that Ericsson will be back on the ice as the team tries to extend their season chasing the Stanley Cup, but they know they will have to start the journey without him. Ericsson is usually matched up against his opponents top line, and he will be missed.
