After checking out some fantasy football start/sit decisions for the Monday night game between the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys, let's go put together a DFS lineup for the contest.

This DraftKings lineup will have six players (a captain, who costs 1.5 times as much, but also scores 1.5 times more, and five flex spots). I have to stay within a $50,000 budget, so let's see what we can come up with!

Check out player prop bets, prop bet rankings and public betting splits on FantasySP all season!

Captain - Bam Knight ($10,500)

There's a few guys I like more in this contest, but taking Knight in the captain spot just makes too much sense.

The top Arizona back is averaging 6.2 fantasy points per game so far this season. He's scored 9.4 or more points in each of the past three games though.

He has a stellar matchup against the Dallas defense that I expect him to take advantage of. Knight should dominate the backfield touches for the Cardinals, and as long as he doesn't lose rushing scores to any teammates, this should be a great DFS pick.

It also saves me some salary, which is obviously a big deal.

Flex - CeeDee Lamb ($10,800)

I see Lamb as the best fantasy asset in this game, so I was picking him no matter what.

He's averaging 16.8 fantasy points per game this season. Lamb has scored 25 and 14.6 points since returning from a multi-week absence.

His matchup is pretty average, but I'm expecting the Dallas offense to get back on track tonight, and that should mean big things for Lamb.

Flex - Marvin Harrison Jr. ($8,400)

Harrison is the top wide receiver for Arizona, and he could end up as the top pass catcher too.

He's averaging 10.8 fantasy points per week so far. Harrison has been in single digits in each of the past two weeks, so that makes him a bit of a riskier pick tonight.

In a stellar matchup though, I like Harrison to deliver a good fantasy showing, and I'm hoping he's the top Arizona pass catcher.

Flex - George Pickens ($8,800)

I decided on a second Dallas wide receiver, mostly because he was one of the cheaper top-end options available yet.

Pickens is averaging 19.2 fantasy points per game, although his best games came with Lamb out. He's scored 12.2 and 14.8 points the past two weeks, so he can still deliver with Lamb around.

Like I already said, I expect Dallas' offense to get rolling again this week, and Lamb and Pickens are the top options.

Flex - Michael Wilson ($3,200)

Wilson is my desperation heave, and a way to save salary for one more splash pick.

Wilson is averaging just 4.9 fantasy points per game this season. He has tallied 8.4 and 7 points over the past two weeks, so I'd even take that tonight.

In a stellar matchup, he's a fine pick. I just have to hope he contributes a bit, and that Harrison outperforms Trey McBride and I'll be set up pretty well.

Flex - Jake Ferguson ($8,000)

If Lamb and Pickens aren't leading the Dallas' pass catchers, I need to hope Ferguson does everything else.

He's coming off a goose egg, but is still averaging 15.1 fantasy points per contest. Ferguson scored 12.3 points or more in weeks 2-7, so I'm pretty confident he will bounce back tonight.

He has a pretty favorable matchup too, so that's another reason to add him into this lineup.

Final Thoughts

There's not a ton of fantasy options in this contest, as the story I linked in the first paragraph of this story mentions, but there's enough to come up with several DFS lineup options.

I didn't take either quarterback, skipped the top Dallas running back and Arizona pass catcher/tight end. You could also throw each kicker in lineups to save some money and come up with a unique lineup. The DSTs are really the only “startable” options I'd try to stay away from.

I think there's a bunch of combinations out there that could deliver big scores tonight, so try your hand at one!

I like my lineup, as it has four really solid fantasy options in Lamb, Pickens, Harrison and Ferguson, who should provide me with a solid fantasy floor. Knight and Wilson are my wild cards who will likely make or break this lineup.

If you wanted to get really wild, you could use Wilson in your captain spot and then have more money to chase some other high-priced options.

Best of luck with your final fantasy football lineup decisions and DFS lineups!
