Top Fantasy Performances
Las Vegas' Devin White and Los Angeles Rams' Byron Young each had big fantasy outings on the defensive side of the ball.
White had a sack among his nine tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in the team's win over the Titans. It was White's first sack of the season, plus his first INT and fumble forced. He has two passes defensed and 48 tackles overall though, so on tackles alone, he's a very good weekly IDP option.
Young had two sacks among his eight tackles. He ended up with five QB hits. Young has 7.5 sacks among his 37 overall tackles this season, while also having a forced fumble and 15 QB hits. Young has been stellar this season, and is a fantastic IDP option while mixing several sacks among good tackle totals.
Miami's Jordyn Brooks, Las Vegas' Maxx Crosby and Jacksonville's Foyesade Oluokun also had good fantasy showings.
Brooks had nine tackles and a fumble recovery on Sunday. He has 1.5 sacks among his 66 tackles on the season, and on the tackle mark alone, Brooks is a fantastic IDP option every week.
Crosby had just three tackles, but two were for sacks. He has an interception, five passes defensed, a forced fumble and four sacks among his 25 total tackles, showing he's still a very good IDP option every week.
Oluokun had nine tackles, including a TFL, and a pass defensed on Sunday. He has a sack among his 53 season tackles, plus a pick, three passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Oluokun is a top-end IDP option, as those well-rounded numbers should show.
Top Tacklers
LA Rams' Nate Landman leads the league with 17 tackles so far this week. He had 1.5 stuffs among those tackles, and has 2.5 stuffs among his 58 total tackles this season, plus two fumbles recovered and a forced fumble. Landman is a good IDP option, and needs to be starting weekly at this point.
Kansas City's Chamarri Conner had 14 tackles and a forced fumble on Sunday night. He has 51 tackles and two forced fumbles now this season, so he's another good weekly IDP option to utilize.
Miami's K.J. Britt finished with 13 tackles in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. He has 20 tackles on the season, so this performance really was out of nowhere. Britt will be worth adding, but could lose value when Tyrel Dodson returns to the field.
Jets' Jamien Sherwood had 13 tackles, two stuffs and a pass defensed on Sunday. He has 60 tackles overall this season, which is enough to start him in most IDP setups.
Detroit's Alex Anzalone had 12 tackles on Sunday night, bringing his season total to 35. It was a bit of an outlier performance, but with 1.5 sacks, four passes defensed and a pick too, he's really a pretty good weekly option.
Pittsburgh's DeShon Elliott had 12 tackles on Sunday. He has 24 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, two passes defensed and an interception in three games, so he's a good weekly IDP option until further notice.
Tennessee's Cedric Gray had 12 tackles, two passes defensed and two stuffs on Sunday. He has 60 tackles on the season, and at least 12 in three straight games, so he needs to be starting in most IDP setups now.
Germaine Pratt had 11 tackles in his first game with the Colts. He has 36 tackles over this season, so he's a pretty solid weekly IDP option.
Dallas' Shemar James had 11 tackles in the team's loss to Carolina. In three games, James has 31 tackles, so he's quickly emerged as a good IDP option.
Patriots' Robert Spillane went for 11 tackles in the team's win over the Saints. He's up to 51 tackles this season, and with a sack, forced fumble, two passes defensed and a pick too, Spillane is a good weekly option.
Green Bay's Edgerrin Cooper posted 11 tackles in the team's win over Cincinnati. He has double-digit tackles in three of five games, and 44 tackles overall, so he's a pretty good weekly option.
Cincinnati's Barrett Carter had 10 tackles on the other end of the field. He has 28 tackles overall, so this might have been a bit of an outlier. He's still worth an add in a lot of leagues.
Tennessee's L'Jarius Sneed had 10 tackles on Sunday. He has 24 tackles across six games, so this was an outlier performance from the cornerback. He's unlikely to contribute this much weekly, but he's worth some deep-league starts.
San Francisco's Tatum Bethune posted 10 tackles in the team's loss to Tampa Bay. He has 14 tackles on the season, but after the season-ending injury to Fred Warner, Bethune could stay as a good weekly IDP option. Add him before it's too late.
Other Notable Performances
Indianapolis' Kwity Paye ended with two sacks among his seven tackles. He has 12 tackles and three sacks overall, so this was a breakout performance for Paye, and could get him going after a slow start to the season.
LA Rams' Jared Verse had a sack among his six tackles, plus a forced fumble, on Sunday. He has 28 tackles, three sacks and three forced fumbles this season, so he continues to be a solid weekly IDP option.
Arizona's Mack Wilson Sr. had nine tackles and an interception on Sunday. He has 50 tackles overall, so the linebacker is a very good weekly option.
Tampa Bay's Jamel Dean had a sack among his four tackles, a forced fumble and an interception. He has 16 tackles, but a couple splash plays has him as a deep-league IDP asset.
Pittsburgh's Jalen Ramsey had two sacks among his six tackles. Those were his first two sacks, and he has just 20 tackles overall, so this was a bit of an outlier performance. He's still a big enough name and produces enough for some deep-league IDP usage.
