Week 11 Fantasy Football Running Back & Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups: Grab These Kansas City Chiefs Immediately!
Whether it is a coincidence or not, this week’s top free agent running backs and wide receivers could all be on the Kansas City Chiefs. While Clyde Edwards-Helaire has struggled in 2022, Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon have emerged as strong RB options filling in for CEH as they both had strong games in Week 10. Kadarius Toney had 57 yards and one touchdown in his second game with the Chiefs. Could he emerge as a top passing-target for Mahomes as the season keeps rolling?
Let’s take a look at the hottest fantasy football free agent running backs and wide receivers to target from the waiver-wire heading into Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season.
Week 11 Running Backs To Add
RB Jerick McKinnon, Kansas City Chiefs (27.15% Owned)
Though a running back, McKinnon does a lot more pass-catching than he does rushing. He had one carry for two rushing yards, and six receptions for 56 receiving yards in Week 10. Alongside Pacheco, McKinnon should be in the backfield on obvious passing downs for the Chiefs moving forward.
RB Isaiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs
Pacheco had a huge game for the Kansas City Chiefs. While Clyde Edwards-Helaire continues to disimpress, the Chiefs have begun to pivot away from him in order to give more reps to Pacheco and Jerrick McKinnon. Pacheco had 16 carries for 82 rushing yards (5.1 AVG) on Sunday. His number of carries in Week 10 far exceeded any number of carries he’s been given in a single game this season. This should be encouraging for the young Pacheco, and fantasy owners who are searching for a solid free agent back.
RB Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers (40.68% Owned)
Najee Harris finally had a decent game for the Steelers this weekend against the Saints. As of late, Jaylen Warren has been the center of the running back hype with Harris' struggles. While Najee had a solid game, Warren should keep seing increased carries as opposed to the beginning of the season due to Harris' inefficiency overall in 2022.

Week 11 Wide Receivers To Add
WR Jarvis Landry, New Orleans Saints (30.07% Owned)
The Saints’ offense has been a complete let down this season. Injuries have depleted the team’s receiving corps. While Michael Thomas’ season has come to an end, Jarvis Landry was able to return from injury in Week 10. He had three catches for 37 yards (12.3 AVG). Although the Saints’ offense, especially it’s passing game, has been a disaster in 2022, Juice’s return to the receiving corps will provide some relief.
WR Julio Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (25.53% Owned)
Julio Jones had a solid game in Week 10. The Jet had three catches for 53 receiving yards (17.7) including one touchdown in Tampa Bay’s decisive victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Although Jones’ is third in line behind WRs Mike Evans and Michael Godwin, his performance in Germany should give fantasy owners enough incentive to add him to your bench if you need depth at wideout.
WR Zay Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars (43.53% Owned)
Though Christian Kirk remains Trevor Lawrence’s top route-runner, Zay Jones has emerged as the Jags’ second-best receiver on the team’s depth chart. He had eight catches for 68 receiving yards this weekend, and five catches for 40 yards in Week 9. While he is a backup option to Christian Kirk, Jones has made valuable contributions to the Jaguars offense this season. In total, Jones has had 47 receptions for 417 yards and one touchdown in 2022.
WR Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns
Donovan People-Jones had yet again another big game for the Browns. He had five catches for 99 receiving yards a game-long reception of 38 yards. He has now amassed 516 receiving yards this season. While he hasn’t found the endzone yet in 2022, it is undeniable that Peoples-Jones is becoming, and perhaps has become, the Browns most consistently reliable passing target.
WR Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
The Packers lost rookie WR Romeo Doubs which has opened up the field for Christian Watson. He had a huge game on Sunday as Green Bay defeated Dallas. The young receiver had four catches for 107 yards, including one 58 yard receptions, and three total touchdowns. After this game, Watson could become one of Rodgers’ top passing-targets for the remainder of the season. Finally, Aaron Jones has been playing a lot better. This will open up the field and allow Green Bay to target Watson more in the weeks to come.
WR Kadarius Toney, Kansas City Chiefs
Kadarius Toney left the Giants to join the Chiefs midseason. Now that Juju Smith-Schuster is out, Toney has the chance to truly emerge as one of Patrick Mahomes’ best route-runners in the weeks to come. In his second game for the Chiefs this Sunday, Toney had four catches for 57 receiving yards and one touchdown. We’ll have to see how he grows with Mahomes as the season keeps rolling.
