Brady and Gronkowski Miss Practice
The Patriots practice field was a little lighter this week, as Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Julian Edelman all missed practice.
Brady is dealing with a right knee issue, and Gronkowski is still trying to get back from his punctured lung. Gronkowski also left last week's game against the Jets with an apparent back injury, most likely related to his punctured lung. It was clear on the field that both star players were not at the top of their game. The lucky thing for the Patriots is that even an injured but able to play Tom Brady is better than most healthy quarterbacks in the league.
The Patriots are able to let Brady and Gronkowski rest and miss a few practices due to the caliber of their play. Brady missed practice last week and still played on Sunday, so in all likelihood the same will happen this week.
The scary part about an injury now is the playoff season is right around the corner, and the Patriots need their top guys healthy.
