Geno Smith Named Starter
Geno Smith has officially been named the starting quarterback for the New York Jets this week.
The Jets have been struggling this season, and Coach Todd Bowles had to make a change. Smith hasn't been the starter for the Jets since 2014, and he may only be the starter for this week. Bowles has not ruled out Ryan Fitzpatrick claiming the starting position again.
Smith will have to lead the Jets to a victory this week or at least handle the ball well if he wants to keep the starting job moving forward.
