Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Watch: Three Players Trending Up Fast
Brice Sensabaugh, Mitchell Robinson and Jock Landale lead Thursday's most-added waiver wire options.
Let's put together a third round of fantasy basketball waiver wire options for the week.
Here are the stories from Monday and Tuesday.
Today, we will discuss the three most-added waiver wire options to this point of the day. Those players are: Utah's Brice Sensabaugh, New York's Mitchell Robinson and Memphis' Jock Landale.

Brice Sensabaugh Emerging as a Deep-League Scoring Streamer
Sensabaugh is up a whopping 16.23% today and sits at 33.13% overall.
Sensabaugh recently started eight straight games, but his recent 43-point outburst came in 34 minutes off the bench. Over the past 10 contests, he's now averaging 15.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.9 steals over 30.5 minutes.
He was in double figures for all but three games in that span. His minutes varied, even during his eight starts in that stretch.
In 39 games overall, Sensabaugh has started just nine games, so he's used to coming off the bench. He's been in double figures as a scorer in 20 games. He has logged over four rebounds just eight games, and has never topped four assists. Sensabaugh has a steal in 21 games, and a block in just five.
What I'm trying to get at is that most of his fantasy value is coming from his scoring. When he's in grooves where he's scoring, like he is now, there's some legit fantasy value to take advantage of.
He's worth adding and holding in a lot of deeper leagues, at least until his fantasy production goes down. I'd definitely want to stream him after his 43-point outburst, and would also be happy to stream him for his next game in some standard leagues if I had a roster spot to play with.
Sensabaugh is likely to be just a deep-league option more often than not this season though, especially coming off the bench most games. He's got some real value though, so capitalize on it.
Mitchell Robinson's Defensive Ceiling Still Wins Weeks
Robinson has been added in 10.88% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 41.46%.
He has played in six straight games for the Knicks, which is probably the biggest hurdle for Robinson as a fantasy player. Robinson has failed to score in double figures for any of those games, but he has 10 or more rebounds in four of those contests - he also was at nine boards once in that stretch.
He's averaged 5 points, 10 rebounds, 1.2 assists and blocks and 1 steal over his past six games. So basically all of his fantasy value is in the form of rebounds, although adding in some other stats, he can be a pretty solid fantasy asset.
He's another deep-league option only in my eyes, and I don't see a clear path for him to ever work into standard leagues. Robinson just doesn't score enough.
Robinson is a sneaky-good fantasy asset in deeper leagues, and is worth adding and holding until his production dips.
He doesn't play or score enough to be much more than a deep-league asset, but again, these are valuable players for those leagues. Especially if you need big man help, consider adding Robinson for a bit.
Jock Landale Capitalizing on Frontcourt Openings
Landale is owned in 38.2% of leagues after a 10.63% increase.
Landale has played more of late for Memphis, as Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke are among the Grizzlies out of late. The center spot still has Jaren Jackson Jr. and others, but Landale is capitalizing on his expanded role of late.
He's logged 21 or more minutes in five straight starts. Landale is averaging 12.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.2 blocks over 26 minutes in those games.
Landale averages 11.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.5 steals and blocks over 22.6 minutes for the season. So while his role isn't too much different, a couple extra minutes is helping his overall averages jump a bit.
That makes now a perfect time to add and utilize the Memphis big man. He's again another deep-league asset, but he has a chance to sneak into standard leagues. Landale would just be a streaming option in standard leagues, but he's worth considering after looking at his role and production of late.
Be watching his game logs and be ready to move off Landale when his playing time and production drops. For the time being though, he's worth more deep-league usage, and maybe even some standard league usage, especially if you have a roster spot to play with.
