He is currently a free agent after playing for the Chargers in 2025, where he put up 81 receptions for 777 yards and 4 touchdowns on 122 targets across 17 games. Chargers GM Joe Hortiz recently stated that "the door is not closed" on bringing the veteran wide receiver back, leaving his 2026 landing spot uncertain.
Despite being 34 years old, Allen has shown he still has fuel in the tank. In 2024 with Chicago, he scored 7 touchdowns, and followed it up with a heavy target share back in Los Angeles in 2025.
