Other than kicker, defense/special teams groups are often the most ignored part of fantasy football. Fantasy owners don't spend nearly as much time deciding on their starting defense each week as they do the skill players, and many experts recommend waiting to pick your D/ST until the final two rounds (along with your kicker).
With the NFL preseason behind us and the regular season closing in quickly, I wanted to put together one final look at fantasy football average draft position data, as fantasy drafts are taking place soon in most cases.
As promised, we're back to discuss weekly fantasy baseball projections and some more waiver wire/streaming options!
To open a new week of fantasy baseball, let's discuss some waiver wire/streaming options. We'll cover pitchers and hitters in this article.
It was a busy couple days in the NFL, as the preseason ended and teams cut down their rosters. There was also some notable news that forced some other roster decisions.
Let's talk about the White Sox. Chicago had a record of 162-324 over the past three seasons, the worst in baseball during that time, and that included 121 defeats in 2024, the all-time record since 1900. It looked like the Sox would need several more seasons to get back to even an average level.
Welcome to the final weekend in August. We only have a few days left this month before entering the final frame of the MLB season, so to speak. Just over four weeks is all we have left in the 2026 regular season; hold on tight because it will be over before we know it.
Let's break down some more fantasy football draft decisions as we get closer and closer to the start of the regular season.
Let's do another fantasy football mock draft as the NFL preseason winds down and the regular season nears!
We have some more NFL news to discuss. We'll break things down from a fantasy football perspective.
