The New Jersey Devils should have a busy summer ahead of them in 2024 — between the pursuit of a new coach, starting-caliber goaltender, and prospective revamp up and down the lineup, general manager (GM) Tom Fitzgerald certainly has his work cut out for him. One area that the Devils certainly need to address is upending the bottom six. With pending free agents Tomáš Nosek and Chris Tierney unlikely to return to the roster next season considering their lackluster performances in 2023-24, there are holes to fill on the third and fourth lines. Curtis Lazar and Erik Haula should be able to handle center duties, while Ondrej Palat and Nolan Foote should be locked for slots on the wing.

Veterans from across the United States took part in a national ice hockey championship in North Jersey earlier this month, with New Jersey's Warrior team emerging as champions in their division.
