The Saints coach, who needs to find Drew Brees' heir, seemingly isn't a fan of the QBs in this year's draft
The Chargers announced their four-game exhibition schedule Wednesday, highlighted (relatively speaking) by a Philip Rivers-Drew Brees matchup in Week 3, traditionally the game where starters play the most. The team will open in Arizona the weekend of Aug. 9-12 before returning home to face Seattle...
University of Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield is scheduled to visit with the New York Giants on Sunday, April 8 and Monday, April 9. After his visit with the Giants wraps up on Monday, Mayfield will meet with the New York Jets later in the day and again on Tuesday, April 10. Footballguys View: Mayfield seems to be landing to the Jets at no.3 overall in a lot of recent mock drafts. There's no question the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback is going to be a first-round pick and likely in the top 10. Mayfield is not as athletic as Russell Wilson and he's not as dangerous in the pocket as Drew Brees. He's often compared to those two as they're short quarterbacks like him (Mayfield is 6' tall). We think his game translates like Case Keenum...another short quarterback who is known as a gamer and accurate passer.

Snead is signing a two-year offer sheet with the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The contract is worth up to $10.4 million, though it may be back-loaded or heavy on incentives. Regardless, the Saints are unlikely to match the offer, considering they recently signed Cameron Meredith away from the Bears on a similar contract and then re-signed Brandon Coleman, per ESPN.com's Mike Triplett. Snead would fill a clear need in the slot in Baltimore, where Michael Crabtree and John Brown -- both outside receivers -- have already been signed to replace offseason departures Mike Wallace (Eagles), Jeremy Maclin (unsigned) and Michael Campanaro (Titans). Snead entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and caught 141 passes for 1,879 yards and seven touchdowns in 30 games between the 2015 and 2016 seasons, thriving alongside Drew Brees while primarily working the slot. The 25-year-old wideout never reintegrated into the New Orleans offense after starting last season with a DUI suspension and then a hamstring injury, ultimately catching only eight passes for 92 yards in 11 regular-season games.
