Week 10 Fantasy Football Streamers: Cole Kmet Is Heating Up!

Mark Morales-Smith Nov 9th 2:54 AM EST.

It’s Week 10 and the waiver wire is more barren than it’s been all season, but with bye weeks and injuries you may have to turn to the wire for a streamer this week. We’ll help you decide whom you should pick up and throw in your lineup this week.

Fantasy SP is proud to announce the recent launch of our NFL DFS Optimizer! Dominate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo with our trustworthy Lineup Generator!

Quarterbacks

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

We start this week with a player whom no one thought would be a streaming option when this season started. Wilson has been abysmal this season and cast to waivers by many of the owners who drafted him. The likelihood of him sitting out there for you to pick him up is even higher this week due to him being on a bye in Week 9. As bad as he’s been this season, the Titans’ pass defense may be even worse.

Tennessee is allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks at a rate of 24.8 points per game. The bye week gives us some hope that maybe the Broncos took some time out and were able to figure out some of the issues they’ve been having on offense this season. The biggest issue is in the red zone, where Wilson thrived throughout his career. As scary as it is to start Wilson this week, the matchup is great and we still have more faith in him than most of the other QBs available to stream.

Jacoby Brissett, Cleveland Browns

Brissett hasn’t been good this season, but he hasn’t been as terrible as expected either. A lot of that can be credited to an elite offensive line and an outstanding rushing attack. However, this week he goes up against the Dolphins who are tough against the run and completely inept against the pass. Miami is allowing the most fantasy points in the league to opposing quarterbacks. Aside from having a banged-up secondary, the Dolphins’ offense’s ability to score at will forces opposing quarterbacks to continue to throw. This week should be no exception and Brissett is the best streaming option in most leagues.

Running Backs

Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers

It’s going to be tough to find a running back to stream this week. However, Hubbard is expected to return for Carolina. With D’Onta Foreman coming off a terrible game there may be a chance Hubbard can push for a decent amount of snaps. When both played Week 7 after Christian McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers, Hubbard saw nine carries to Foreman’s 15 and his three targets were one more than Foreman saw. Hubbard averaged 7.0 yards per carry in that game so he shouldn’t be written off completely assuming the reports hold true and he’s ready to return.

Jeff Wilson, Miami Dolphins

There is a good chance that Wilson will no longer be on your waiver wire after waiver claims run on Tuesday night. However, he has to be mentioned here because he could still be available. He out-snapped and out-touched Raheem Mostert last week, and flat-out looked like the better back. This will likely be a full-blown time split but this offense has the ability to sustain two fantasy viable backs. Especially this week against the Browns who are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Wide Receivers

Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs

There are much better options at receiver and Hardman has been great over the past three weeks. Outside of two dud games, he’s been solid all year. However, he has at least one touchdown in three straight. Over that stretch, he has totaled 181 yards and five TDs. He’s still available in many leagues because people just don’t believe in him after years of disappointment. This week the Chiefs take on Jacksonville who are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to wideouts. Not that it matters all that much when your quarterback is Patrick Mahomes.

Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns

With Brissett comes Peoples-Jones. We already touched on the Dolphins who have a bottom-10 pass defense in the league, nevertheless, DPJ has quietly put together a solid season in his own right. The only issue for him is that he hasn’t found the end zone. He has proven in the past that he’s more than capable though. Touchdowns aside, he has topped 50 yards in five straight games and caught at least four passes in all of them. During that span, he has totaled 23 receptions for 347 yards. He has a solid floor with the upside to improve if he finds the end zone.

Terrace Marshall, Carolina Panthers

Marshall is a distant third on this list but is still worth mentioning. He has suddenly strung together back-to-back strong performances and seems to be the biggest beneficiary of the Robbie Anderson and CMC trades. Over the past two games, he’s seen 15 targets that he’s turned into seven receptions for 140 yards and a TD. This could be a trap, but it could also be an emerging young player in an offense that desperately needs just that. He also goes up against the Falcons this week who are allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts. This could be a sneaky good play in Week 10.

Tight Ends

Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears

Tight end is the easiest position to stream and that’s why Kmet may still be sitting out there after back-to-back solid weeks. He’s caught three TDs over the past two weeks and is finally giving fantasy owners some of the value they expected prior to the season. Unfortunately, it’s probably too little too late for the owners who drafted him, but it’s good news for you.

He won’t be the PPR monster many hoped he’d be, nonetheless, he should see about four targets and get some looks in the red zone. This week he takes on the Lions who can’t stop anyone from doing anything on defense and are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to the position. There should be plenty of scoring opportunities.

Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Has Tom Brady found his new Gronk!?... No, he has not. That doesn’t mean the rookie doesn’t have value. He’s been coming on strong and caught his first NFL touchdown last week. He’s also seen at least five targets in three straight games and topped 60 yards in two of them. This week he takes on the Seahawks who get torched by tight ends week after week. They are allowing the most fantasy points to the position and are completely incapable of slowing them down. This should be the best game of Otton’s young career.
