Friday, November 21 Fantasy Basketball DFS Lineup: Derik Queen, Max Christie, Kyshawn George and More

The last time I tried putting together a DFS NBA lineup, my star pick (Giannis Antetokounmpo) got hurt. I'm back to try and rid that bad taste from my mouth.

We will be putting together a lineup on DraftKings. It includes seven of the nine games tonight, excluding the Oklahoma City and Utah game and Portland and Golden State contest.

We have $50,000 to spend on this eight-player lineup. Let's see what we can do!

Point Guard - Immanuel Quickley ($6,700)

Quickley is my pick at point guard going into a so-so matchup against the Wizards.

He is averaging 34.2 fantasy points per game, and has scored 40.8 and 39 over his past two. If he can be close to those two marks tonight, I'll be extremely happy.

Quickley and the Raptors have not faced the Wizards yet this season.

Shooting Guard - Max Christie ($4,900)

I'm saving some more money here and taking Christie as my shooting guard.

He has a very favorable matchup coming against the Pelicans, which is a big reason why I like him tonight. He scored 20.2 fantasy points the last time these teams met.

Christie is averaging 23.3 fantasy points per game for the season, and scored 27.2 in his last game. If he can hit his average or go above it, it'll put this DFS lineup in a great spot.

Small Forward - RJ Barrett ($6,900)

I'm going to the Washington, Toronto game again and trying Barrett in the small forward spot.

He is averaging 33.5 fantasy points per game, but is still a pretty affordable DFS asset. Barrett has scored over 30 points in two of the past four games, and I see him getting at least that many points again tonight.

Ideally, Quickley and Barrett are the ones leading the Raptors tonight. If they are, this lineup will be looking great!

Power Forward - Derik Queen ($5,500)

Give me the up-and-coming rookie here at power forward.

Queen has averaged 26.5 fantasy points per game so far, and has a really nice matchup tonight against the Mavericks. He scored 27.2 fantasy points the last time these teams squared off.

Queen is coming off a 53.8-point showing, so I'm hoping for more of that, or really anything over 30 fantasy points. If he scores over 50 again, I'd love my chances with this lineup.

Center - Bam Adebayo ($8,000)

I spent a bit more to land Adebayo, but it's still a pretty reasonable price in my eyes.

He is averaging 37.9 fantasy points per game so far this season, and has a favorable matchup tonight against the Bulls. Bam hasn't faced Chicago yet this season.

Adebayo scored 40.2 fantasy points on Wednesday, which was his first game in a while. I expect another big outing from him in his second game back, and in this favorable test.

Guard - Kyshawn George ($6,100)

George is my pick for my guard spot.

He has a bit tougher test against the Raptors, but is averaging 35.7 fantasy points per game, so I'm willing to add him to this lineup.

George is affordable for how many fantasy points he scores. He has scored over 40 fantasy points in three straight games, so I don't mind trying him in a tougher test.

As long as Washington hangs around long enough in this game, George should be able to post a big fantasy score.

Forward - De'Andre Hunter ($5,900)

Give me Hunter for my forward spot in this lineup.

He is averaging 30 fantasy points per contest, and had 34 in his last game. His matchup against the Pacers is pretty favorable - he hasn't faced them yet this season.

Hunter's role and usage is solid, and he's an affordable add to this lineup. Let's hope he can deliver at least close to his season average. 

Utility - Rudy Gobert ($6,000)

I decided on a pretty consistent big man for the final spot in this lineup.

He's averaging 29.5 fantasy points per game so far, and has 32.2 and 37.2 over his past two contests.

He has a pretty solid matchup tonight against the Suns, who he hasn't faced yet this season.

The double-double threat could take this lineup over the top, so let's hope he keeps up his recent production.

Final Thoughts

I used all my salary and ended up with a pretty balanced lineup.

There's really no fantasy stars in it, but it's stocked full of above-average fantasy assets who should help me to a big score by the end of the night.

I played a lot of matchups, but really was most interested in fantasy players who have consistently delivered solid totals all season.

We'll see if I found the right combination to have a winning lineup!
