Should You Add Dillon Brooks?
Brooks is up 9.15% today, bringing his overall mark to 69.15%.
Brooks started the year hot, but then missed the next six games for the Suns with an injury. He returned to the court on Saturday and delivered 16 points, three assists, two steals and two rebounds over 27 minutes.
Over four games now, he's tallied 74 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and steals and two blocks over 120 minutes. He is shooting 40% overall, 32.4% from 3-point land and is 11-of-12 from the free-throw line.
Brooks appears like he's going to have a pretty big role for the Suns this season. He's scored it pretty well so far, but has lacked full-rounded efforts.
In order to get closer to 100% rostered, Brooks is going to start needing to add in more rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Even if he's averaging 20 points a night, it'll be tough for him to be added in standard leagues if he isn't doing much else.
Brooks should definitely be rostered in all deeper leagues at this point, and he's a pretty good standard league streaming option at his current averages and numbers. Keep an eye on him, but I think he'll stick pretty close to that level of fantasy player all season.
Should You Add Jaylon Tyson?
Tyson is rostered in 31.91% of leagues after a 8.58% increase today.
Tyson has pretty quietly been a good fantasy asset this season. He has played 23 or more minutes in seven straight games, and he's started seven of the team's 10 games so far.
He is averaging 11.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks over 25.3 minutes. Tyson is shooting 51.3% overall and 47.8% from deep, while being an 81.8% free-throw shooter.
He's scored in double figures in six straight games, and until that slows, he's likely to keep starting, or at least playing at least half of games. Tyson's role could change when Max Strus and Larry Nance Jr. are back from injuries, but he's a worthwhile fantasy asset at least until those guys are back.
Tyson is worth more ownership in deeper leagues, and another strong week should get him to, or above, 50% owned. I see him as a better deep-league asset this season, but more injuries could help him get into standard league eventually, so don't write him off completely in those leagues.
He's also a decent standard league streaming option right now, so keep him in mind if you are in a pinch and need some points from a guard.
Should You Add Naji Marshall?
Marshall has been added in 8.04% of leagues - he sits at 19.15% overall now.
He has turned things up a notch over the past two games, so it's clear why he's on the rise. Marshall has 46 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and four steals over the past two contests, which spans 56 minutes.
Overall in 10 games, Marshall is averaging 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 24.5 minutes. He's shooting 46.4% overall and just 25% from deep, while being at 84.6% at the line.
He's played 25 or more minutes in three straight, and his overall fantasy showings have been up in those contests. Marshall can score it well at times, as his 30-point showing in his last game shows. He also stuffs the stat sheet pretty well, so he's a pretty good fantasy asset in the right circumstances.
Marshall is worth adding in more deeper leagues, in case he's at the start of a hot streak. He'll need to be scoring in double figures most nights, plus adding in other stats to remain a good deep-league option the rest of the season.
I could also see streaming him in standard leagues now if you are in a pinch and want a high-upside fantasy player. Give him a look at least.
Should You Add Jusuf Nurkic?
Nurkic is rostered in 70.74% of leagues after a 6.3% increase.
He has taken on more over the past week after the season-ending injury to Walker Kessler. Nurkic has started the past four games, but has played between 19-32 minutes.
He has scored between 3-11 points in those games. Nurkic had three points, four rebounds and assists and one steal and block over 19 minutes in his last game, so that's obviously not great fantasy production.
He's more on the rise because he's starting and is a double-double threat every night. Nurkic has just one double-double on the season, and is averaging 6.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.4 blocks over 21.2 minutes.
I get why he's on the rise, but I'm not seeing enough in his averages to be worth as high an own percentage as he's at now. He's a fine deep-league asset, but that's where he tops out for me.
He needs to deliver more on a nightly basis in order to be worth any standard league ownership, or starts. Keep an eye on him, but for now, I'd only roster him in deeper leagues.
Should You Add Zaccharie Risacher?
Risacher is up 6.11% and is now owned in 50% of leagues overall.
He has been up and down in the early going, but appears to be settling in now. Risacher has scored in double figures in three straight games, tallying 56 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and steals and one block in that span.
Risacher is averaging 12.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks over 24.8 minutes a game so far. He's actually a worse fantasy option than he was during his rookie season so far, but like I already said, he's trending up.
Atlanta is dealing with a number of injuries, so the opportunity is there for Risacher to shine right now. He's been over 25 minutes in each of the past three games, so maybe he's starting to break out now.
I like adding him in all deeper leagues right now. I think he'll remain a good deep-league option for the rest of the season. He also has some standard league streaming value right now.
He's very close to getting back into a lot of standard leagues, so keep a very close eye on him. If Risacher delivers in his next game, you better add him, because he'll be scooped up in a hurry.
Should You Add Tre Mann?
Mann is owned in 13.83% of leagues after a 4.39% increase today.
He had been playing about half of games, or less, to open the year. Mann scored in double figures in the first three games of the month, so he earned a start and played 35 minutes in his last contest. He posted 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and a steal in that contest, so it's easy to see why he's soaring up.
With averages of 11.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3 assists and 0.9 steals over 22.4 minutes a game so far, you can see why he is still not rostered in a ton of leagues.
He's definitely capable of being a pretty good fantasy asset, but I'd say his last game was his fantasy ceiling - that was a standard league-level fantasy effort though.
Charlotte has injuries all over the place, so Mann has the chance to shine most nights. His role will likely back off when the team is healthy, so he's a guy to watch and add/drop as his value goes up and down.
Right now, he's worth deep-league ownership and starts, even if you just want to stream him. I'd even call him a standard league streaming option after his last game, so everyone should be considering the guard if they need a little fantasy boost for a night or two.
