March 7 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Options and Thursday's Recap: Andrew Nembhard, Tre Jones, Georges Niang, Payton Pritchard, Jabari Smith Jr. and More

Looking over some of the better fantasy basketball performances from March 6 to maybe identify some waiver wire options.

It's time for the final fantasy basketball waiver wire story of the week. Like usual, we'll start off by looking at the top performances from waiver wire options on Thursday, March 6.

Bulls 125, Magic 123

Tre Jones, rostered in 13% of fantasy leagues, went for 20 points, five rebounds four assists and one steal across 30 minutes.

Matas Buzelis, owned in 43% of leagues, finished with 11 points, five rebounds, three blocks and two assists in 29 minutes.

Anthony Black, rostered in 11% of leagues, totaled eight points, three rebounds, two assists and steals and one block in 20 minutes off the bench.

Cole Anthony, owned in 25% of leagues, started and played 24 minutes, tallying 20 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal and block.

Wendell Carter Jr., rostered in 49% of leagues, had 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal and block across 26 minutes.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, owned in 21% of leagues, added 19 points, four rebounds and two assists and steals across 32 minutes.

Hawks 124, Pacers 118

Georges Niang, owned in 14% of leagues, posted 24 points, six rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes off the bench.

Andrew Nembhard, rostered in 42% of leagues, totaled 15 points, 10 assists and one rebound across 30 minutes.

T.J. McConnell, owned in 25% of leagues, had nine points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals in 26 minutes off the bench.

Aaron Nesmith, rostered in 42% of leagues, finished with 21 points, three rebounds, two blocks and assist and one steal in 35 minutes.

Celtics 123, 76ers 105

Payton Pritchard, available in 10% of leagues, closed the game with 19 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes off the bench.

Luke Kornet, rostered in 7% of leagues, finished with nine points, seven rebounds and four blocks and assists across 32 minutes.

Baylor Scheierman, barely owned in any leagues, tallied 15 points, three rebounds and assists and one steal in 30 minutes off the bench.

Neemias Queta, rostered in 1% of leagues, totaled eight points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 24 minutes.

Jeff Dowtin Jr., owned in 1% of leagues, posted 10 points, two assists and one rebound, steal and block across 18 minutes off the bench.

Justin Edwards, rostered in 3% of leagues, finished with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and one block across 31 minutes.

Warriors 121, Nets 119

Quinten Post, rostered in 10% of leagues, contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and two blocks and assists across 21 minutes off the bench.

Gary Payton II, owned in 1% of leagues, went for 16 points, nine rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes off the bench.

Tyrese Martin, rostered in 1% of leagues, accumulated 17 points, two rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes off the bench.

Nicolas Claxton, available in 5% of leagues, had eight points, 10 assists, nine rebounds and two blocks and steals in 31 minutes.

Rockets 109, Pelicans 97

Tari Eason, owned in 75% of leagues, went for 20 points, five steals, four assists, two rebounds and one block across 31 minutes.

Jabari Smith Jr., rostered in 62% of leagues, ended the night with 16 points, five rebounds and one assist and block across 28 minutes.

Jose Alvarado, owned in 35% of leagues, turned in seven points, four steals and assists and two rebounds across 23 minutes off the bench.

Lakers 113, Knicks 109 (OT)

All of the players over 25 fantasy points in this game were already owned in 100% of leagues.

One thing of note from the game is that New York's Jalen Brunson rolled his ankle and is now expected to miss some time.

Top Waiver Wire Options

At the time of publication, it's Dallas' Brandon Williams atop the 25-player waiver wire list. He's up 7.1% and at 10.41% overall. Dallas' Klay Thompson is also on the list, up 1.74% and at 88.6% overall now.

LA Lakers' Jarred Vanderbilt, Jaxson Hayes and Dalton Knecht are all on the list. Vanderbilt and Hayes are each up 5.88%, with Vanderbilt at 15.44% overall and Hayes at 40.07% now. Knecht is up 1.83% and sitting at 22.79% overall.

Indiana's Nembhard is up 5.88%, while Nesmith got added in 4.78% of leagues. New Orleans' Jordan Hawkins is up 4.78% and at 23.53% overall, while teammate Kelly Olynyk was added in 2.57% of leagues and is up to 51.1%.

Philadelphia's Quentin Grimes got added in 4.78% of leagues and is owned in 82.35% of leagues overall. Teammate Guerschon Yabusele is up 3.8% and sitting at 58.21% now.

Chicago's Zach Collins is rostered in 70.96% of leagues after a 4.78% boost. Buzelis is up 3.78%, while Jalen Smith is up 3.68% and at 13.24% overall.

New York's Miles McBride, Brunson's backup, is up 4.78% and at 18.38% now. Boston's Pritchard got added in 4.41% of leagues.

Memphis' Brandon Clarke is owned in 27.61% of leagues after a 4.08% increase. Utah's Kyle Filipowski got added in 4.05% of leagues and is rostered in 53.31% overall.

Atlanta's Caris LeVert is up 3.49% and at 82.9% overall, while teammate Clint Capela is up 2.21% and rostered in 67.65% of leagues overall. Golden State's Buddy Hield is up 2.57% and is owned in 57.72% overall. 

Orlando's Goga Bitadze got a 2.31% bump and is up to 32.09% overall. LA Clippers' Bogdan Bogdanovic is owned in 55.15% of leagues after a 2.21% increase.

Phoenix's Nick Richards is up 1.84% and sitting at 49.63% overall now. Houston's Smith is up 1.84% today.
