Emmett Johnson at Miami — Expanding Backup Role Brings Intriguing Stash Value

The rookie currently operates as the primary backup to Kenneth Walker in Kansas City's backfield. Head coach Andy Reid recently noted that Johnson will earn more snaps to relieve Walker after a heavy workload to open the year. Johnson has shown impressive efficiency in limited work, hauling in four passes for 64 receiving yards through two games.

Despite Reid's comments, Johnson remains a bench stash rather than a recommended starter. Waller showcased his vintage red-zone prowess in Week 2, hauling in three receptions for 33 yards and two touchdowns against Atlanta. While he is managed with veteran rest during practice and rotates with Tommy Tremble, he has caught all five of his targets over the first two weeks as a trusted target for Bryce Young.

Facing a tough Browns defense in an outdoor matchup with a modest 41.5-point total, Waller carries a low floor if he does not find the end zone.
