Fresh Start in Houston Positions Veteran Lead Back for High-Value Touches

David Montgomery transitions to Houston as the lead back ahead of rookie Woody Marks. Arriving via trade, Montgomery will anchor the ground game for a high-powered Texans offense led by C.J. Stroud. Our models project Montgomery for a busy season with 210 carries, providing excellent weekly stability.

Montgomery’s ADP spiked near pick 34 in late May before stabilizing around 50 in PPR formats. This mid-round price makes him an enticing value. Our projections of 925 rushing yards and eight touchdowns suggest he is a major draft-day steal at his current market cost.

Denver Committee Back Offers PPR Value Potential Despite Offseason Shoulder Surgery

We project RJ Harvey to play a key role in the Denver backfield behind J.K. Dobbins, while staying ahead of rookie Jonah Coleman. Despite being listed second on the depth chart, Harvey's pass-catching ability makes him highly valuable. Last year, he hauled in 47 receptions for 356 yards, cementing his utility in PPR formats.

Offseason surgery in mid-June to repair a torn labrum adds injury risk, but we still expect solid production if he recovers smoothly. Our models project Harvey for 123 carries for 505 yards and five scores, alongside 44 receptions for 320 yards and three touchdowns, totaling 169.4 fantasy points.

His ADP has been highly volatile, spiking into the 30s in May before settling back to a reasonable 65.00 in June. This current price represents a strong value opportunity in PPR leagues, where his receiving floor offers an excellent draft-day discount.
