Veteran Keenan Allen Awaits Next Landing Spot as Offseason Rumors Swirl

Veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen enters the 2026 season as an intriguing free agent with plenty of proven production left. After catching 81 passes for 777 yards and four touchdowns with the Chargers last year, the 13-year veteran has shown he can still be a reliable possession target.

Though his landing spot remains undecided, rumors have linked him to the Colts, and Chargers GM Joe Hortiz has repeatedly left the door open for a possible reunion. His fantasy value will heavily depend on his final destination and role.

Following the departure of veteran star A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith enters the season as the undisputed leader of the Eagles' receiving corps. Backed by rookie Makai Lemon and speedster Hollywood Brown on the depth chart, Smith commands a massive target projection. He has historically proven his high floor, surpassing 800 receiving yards in five straight seasons, including 1,097 yards last year.

This dominant role has caused his market value to climb significantly. His ADP in PPR formats has risen from the late fourth round in May to a premium third-round pick around 38.00 in early July. Our models suggest this climbing cost remains a strong value rather than an over-hyped reach, as his volume security provides an incredibly safe foundation.

We project Smith to secure 82 receptions on 122 targets for 1,084 yards and six touchdowns, translating to a top-tier fantasy asset.
