I am giving Robinson my No. 1 dynasty ranking among running backs. He's just 24 years old and has been a stud across his first three years in the league.
I see that continuing for several more years, so he's a great dynasty back to build around. Keep expecting big things for the foreseeable future.
2. Jahmyr Gibbs
Gibbs was the other back I considered for the No. 1 spot, but he slots in second for me. The stats between the two backs show that Robinson is more utilized, so why Gibbs averages more yards per carry, the extra work makes Gibbs a better fantasy asset.
I'd still be ecstatic to be building around Gibbs, who might work more as a workhorse in his third year in the league. He could overtake Robinson if he delivers huge this season.
Jeanty underwhelmed a bit as a rookie, but I'm still very, very high on him. The 22-year-old has a super bright future, especially as the Raiders improve around him.
Expect Jeanty to be a high-end fantasy back for the next several years. In time, he could pass Robinson and/or Gibbs because he's younger, so we'll see if he can force that.
I like Achane as the No. 4 dynasty running back. He is just 24 years old and has produced big when healthy across his first three years in the league.
Achane will be the focal point of the Dolphins' offense in 2026, and if he can stay healthy, he should be a top-end fantasy back for the next several years. I'm not sure if Achane could ever overtake the three backs ahead of him, but he's got a good chance of sticking in the top five, at least, for a while.
Love gets the No. 5 dynasty slot amongst running backs as he prepares for his rookie year. He's just 21 years old, so he could hop Achane with a big first year, and rise past that if he excels right away.
I'm not so sure the Cardinals are going to let him be a workhorse back right away, which is part of the reason why he ranks fifth and not fourth. We'll see if he moves up my list in time.
I really like Hampton, but couldn't justify putting him any higher than sixth. He's 23 years old and showed some good things across nine games in his rookie year.
Hampton needs to stay healthy to show his worth, but I think it's more likely he sticks around the No. 5 dynasty ranking instead of moving closer to No. 1.
JT gets the No. 7 slot. He's the oldest back on the list so far, but is still only 27. He's a top-end fantasy back for the coming year, and if he can stay healthy, he's got several more years in him I think.
Taylor is more a dynasty back for contending teams to utilize. If you are retooling a bit and not ready to compete, you might want to consider selling Taylor high, so he isn't trending down when you are finally ready to compete.
8. James Cook
The same things could be said for Cook, who is 26 years old. He's coming off his best season yet, and should remain a good fantasy asset for the long run, especially with quarterback Josh Allen taking away some hits here and there.
Of course, Allen's presence brings Cook's fantasy value down a little bit, but that could work in the back's favor as time passes, extending his career a bit. He's kind of an overlooked back when it comes to dynasty, but those competing should be happy to have Cook around for the next few seasons.
Walker is 25 years old, so he's got a chance to jump some backs on the dynasty rankings, especially if he shows out with his new team.
He played in 17 games last year, but played between 11-15 in his first three years in the league, so injuries are another reason why Walker isn't ranking higher now. We'll see if he can improve his status by the end of this year.
10. Breece Hall
Hall is another back who could rise, as he's just 25 years old. He's entering his fifth year in the league, but a poorly-run team and offense around him is holding him back.
He's still a very good fantasy asset, and can help teams compete for the next few years, at least. If you aren't ready to compete now, I'd be tempted to sell Hall high, in case he's on the downswing when your team is ready to compete.
