Week 6 Sunday DraftKings DFS Lineup: Rico Dowdle, Tetairoa McMillan, Hunter Henry and More

My Sunday DraftKings lineup for week 5 didn't fare super well, so I'm hoping to bounce back with this week 6 lineup.

This contest features all the NFL games from the middle of Sunday - not the London game or Sunday night contest. That gives us 10 games to put together a nine-player lineup from.

QB - Drake Maye ($5,900)

There were a number of quarterbacks I really liked, but I decided on one of the lower-priced guys in Maye.

He's averaging 19.9 fantasy points per game, and has a good matchup coming against the Saints. I see Maye continuing his early-season success, and posting a big fantasy total in this one.

Now I just hope that the running backs don't steal any touchdowns from him.

RB - Kyren Williams ($6,300)

Williams is coming off a stellar showing and has a very nice matchup against the Ravens, so I was all far putting him in my lineup.

He's averaging 17.3 fantasy points per game this season, and I see him topping that number in this favorable matchup. 

Now I just have to hope that the Rams' touchdowns don't all come on the ground. It would also be beneficial if this game stayed close enough to use Williams throughout.

RB - Rico Dowdle ($5,800)

Chuba Hubbard has been ruled out again, so Dowdle will once again lead the Panthers' backfield, this time in a favorable matchup against the Cowboys.

Coming off a monster week 5 showing, I expect Dowdle to get plenty of touches and deliver another big fantasy outing. He's averaging 11.3 fantasy points per game, but scored 35.4 last week - if he does that again, this lineup will be set up for success.

WR - Davante Adams ($6,700)

As much as I'd like to take Puka Nacua in the team's super favorable clash against the Ravens, I think Adams could have just as big a game, so I'm going to try him instead.

He's averaging 15.7 fantasy points per contest, and easily could top that this week, even if he's pulled early with the team leading big.

Really, I just need Williams or Adams to score the Rams' touchdowns, and I'll be set up for success.

WR - Tetairoa McMillan ($6,000)

McMillan could be in line for his biggest performance yet as he faces the Cowboys. I'm really playing the matchups with this week's DFS lineup.

McMillan is averaging 12.4 fantasy points per game, and that's without a touchdown. He's likely to score more points than that in a very favorable matchup, and I like his chances of scoring and delivering a monster fantasy score.

Again, if McMillan or Dowdle are doing the scoring for the Panthers, this lineup should excel.

WR - Calvin Ridley ($4,900)

Ridley got going a bit in week 5, so I'm going to roll with him here for week 6. He's got a favorable matchup against the Raiders lined up.

He's averaging just nine fantasy points per game, but tallied 21.1 last time out. If he replicates that outing, it will only increase the chances that this lineup performs well overall.

TE - Hunter Henry ($4,300)

Henry has put together some good fantasy showings across the first five weeks. He's averaging 12 fantasy points per contest.

He has a favorable test against the Saints this week, and I expect him to deliver a good fantasy score. Adding in he's pretty affordable and Henry was an easy add to this lineup.

Flex - Javonte Williams ($6,400)

I decided on Williams for my last offensive player pick. He has a so-so matchup against the Panthers, but with the season he's delivered so far, I'm happy to add him to my mix.

He's averaging 21.5 fantasy points per contest so far, and he only has one week under 19 points. He's a safe fantasy player right now, and offers pretty good upside too. Even in an OK matchup, I like his chances of delivering another above-average fantasy total.

D/ST - Steelers ($3,600)

I decided on the Steelers DST for week 6. They will take on the Browns in Pittsburgh.

So far, Pittsburgh's DST has averaged 8.3 fantasy points per game, but was really good in weeks 3 and 4. After a bye week, I see the DST delivering another big fantasy showing against a not-so-good Browns' offense.

A couple turnovers and a handful of sacks should lead to a nice fantasy score. 

Final Thoughts

I like the look of this DraftKings lineup for Sunday.

It's mostly built on favorable matchups, but there's really only one gamble on a player with so-so showings so far (Ridley). 

There's some big names in there, but several lower-ranked guys, which could work in my favor in the end if several of them deliver as I expect them to.

I expect to score more points than last week - I had 159.04, and if it all comes together, this could be a lineup that wins some money.
