Welcome to my weekly FAAB report article for Fantasy Football. Every week I am going to go over my favorite additions at the WR and TE positions in both shallower leagues and deeper leagues and tell you how much FAAB you should be spending and why.

Want to make sure you don't waste your FAAB budget? Sync your fantasy teams with our Fantasy Assistant to access our Predictive Analytics, which predict the average winning FAAB bids for each week's hottest pickups BEFORE waivers are run, with accurate predictions landing each Tuesday!

Best Fantasy Football FAAB Pickups for Shallow Leagues (10 and 12 Teams)

WR Demario Douglas, New England Patriots

He has been a hot add over the past few weeks, and now has become worthy of being added even in the shallowest of leagues. He saw a team-high nine targets in Week 10, catching six for 84 yards, his best game of the season. Although the Patriots' offense is terrible and will be as long as Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe is playing QB for them, Douglas is seeing a lot of volume, which provides him with the opportunity to put up WR3-type fantasy production. In your 10-team leagues, spend 5-8% of your remaining FAAB, and in your 12-team leagues spend 9-12%.

WR Brandin Cooks, Dallas Cowboys

Cooks has basically been an utter disappointment in fantasy football this season. He is likely still rostered in deep leagues simply because of his name recognition and the offense that he plays in, however keeping him in the shallower leagues hasn’t been easy. Prior to Week 10, Cooks hadn’t caught five passes in a game or topped 50 yards in a game. He wasn’t usable, and many people had him on their bench in Week 10, only to see him finally produce a big day. Cooks caught nine passes for a team-high 173 yards and a TD in the Cowboys' annihilation of the Giants. Although the Cowboys won’t play the Giants again this season, perhaps this is the game that Cooks needed in order to become fantasy-relevant; if he is sitting on your waiver wire, spend 15-20% of your remaining budget on him.

WR Noah Brown, Houston Texans

It has now been back-to-back weeks where Noah Brown has had monster games. Nico Collins didn’t play in Week 10, which certainly helped to boost Brown’s value, but no matter who was or wasn’t playing, it cannot be ignored that Brown put up six for 153 in Week 9 and followed it up with seven for 172 in Week 10. The Texans' offense is excellent with C.J. Stroud at QB, and it’s become apparent that you want to roster as many of his pass catchers as possible. Brown is a late bloomer but might be someone you can start using in the flex spot, especially when you consider that he has improved every game this season in terms of catches and yards. You can spend 7-9% of your remaining budget on him this week.

WR Rondale Moore, Arizona Cardinals

It’s been a down season for Moore this year. Entering Week 10, he hadn’t caught more than four passes in a game, and his best receiving game came in Week 1, when he put up just 33 yards. But QB Kyler Murray made his season debut in Week 10 against the Falcons, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Moore suddenly became fantasy-relevant and put together his best game of the season. It was only five catches for 43 yards, however both marked season highs for the speedster, and with Murray back in the fold for the remainder of the season, Moore needs to be added, and it can be done for 13-17% of your remaining budget.

Best Fantasy Football FAAB Pickups for Deep Leagues (14 and 16 Teams)

WR Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers

It hasn’t been the best of seasons for the Packers or their offense. Jordan Love has had a lot of growing pains at the QB position, and he’s gotten inconsistent play from his WRs when they have been healthy. Over the past four weeks, though, Jayden Reed has been a solid weapon for Love, topping 80 yards in a game twice and finding the end zone two times. That production comes at a great time considering that he is still available in most leagues, and in Week 11 he faces a Chargers defense that ranks 32nd in the NFL against the pass. Pick up Reed this week, even if you only want to use him as a streamer. Anywhere from 4-7% of your remaining budget should get the job done.

WR Kyle Phillips, Tennessee Titans

Phillips was non-existent in the Titans' offense until Will Levis took over as the starting QB. Before Levis had taken a snap, Phillips had one catch for six yards. Since Levis became the starter, Phillips has 10 catches for over 150 yards. In the past two weeks, Phillips has made seven of those catches for 129 yards, topping 60 yards in both contests. Even though he is relatively unknown, he has been providing decent flex option production over the past couple of weeks, and in your deep leagues, you can never have enough of that. Don’t go crazy in the bidding here; go with a nice safe 3-5% of your remaining budget.

TE Tyler Conklin, New York Jets

It’s hard to find anything positive about this Jets offense right now unless you’re referring to Garrett Wilson or Breece Hall. Over the past couple of weeks, though, another threat has emerged, and it’s been Tyler Conklin. Although they lost both games, Conklin caught six passes for 66 yards vs. the Chargers in Week 9 and followed that up with a seven-catch, 70-yard game against the Raiders this week on SNF. We can’t know if this recent success will continue, but we can certainly take a chance on him this week in the hopes that it does, especially if you have been lacking TE production in a deep league. Still, I wouldn’t spend more than 6-8% of your remaining budget on him.
