Tight end is the most shallow position in fantasy football, which is why many fantasy owners stream at the position with the fewest trustworthy options. Week 14 is the final week fantasy owners will have to deal with the bye-week blues. The Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots will all get some much-needed rest this week. That means fantasy owners will have to find replacements for Dallas Goedert, Mike Gesicki, and Hunter Henry. Fortunately, the Colts don’t have any fantasy-relevant tight ends on their roster.

Many highly-touted tight ends heading into the season have been severely disappointing. Players such as Kyle Pitts, T.J. Hockenson, Logan Thomas, and even Darren Waller have failed to live up to expectations. However, we have a few ideas for those of you who are desperate for a win this week and lack a decent starting option. In the final week of the fantasy football regular season, streaming the right tight end could be the difference between making and missing the postseason. Let’s take a look at Week 14’s top tight end streaming options.

Week 14 Fantasy Football Tight Ends To Stream

TE Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings

Conklin has been featured in this column several times this season. Conklin saw a 21.9% target share last week and produced 12.6 fantasy points in PPR formats. With Adam Thielen sidelined, Conklin should see plenty of looks despite Minnesota’s commitment to the running game. Once Thielen suffered his high-ankle sprain last week, Conklin ran a route on 73.9% of Minnesota’s dropbacks. The nine targets he saw last week were a season-high. Since Week 8, Conklin has averaged 10 fantasy points per game and should continue to be Kirk Cousins’ go-to option in the red zone. Although Pittsburgh has been stingy against opposing tight ends this season, Conklin should play a pivotal role in Minnesota’s passing game with Justin Jefferson likely being double-teamed on most obvious passing downs. If the Steelers get out to an early lead as I expect, Conklin could set a new season-high in targets and receptions with Thielen sidelined. He is this week’s top streaming option at the tight end position.

TE Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington Football Team

Poor Logan Thomas. You have to feel bad for the guy after he suffered what appeared to be a pretty serious knee injury. Thomas had just returned from IR in Week 12 after missing the previous seven weeks. He caught three balls for 48 yards, including an amazing one-handed touchdown grab before going down.

Seals-Jones was dealing with an injury of his own but will enter Washington’s lineup as the starting tight end in Week 14. RSJ averaged seven targets and 12 fantasy points per game from Week 5 to Week 7 with Thomas sidelined. RSJ will face a Cowboys defense that allows the 11th-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. He’s a potential streaming option this week and could have long-term value in the fantasy football playoffs as long as Thomas remains out of the lineup.

TE Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders

As long as Darren Waller remains sidelined, Moreau has a chance at providing a decent statistical output from a fantasy standpoint. Waller has not been officially ruled out for Week 14, but it seems increasingly unlikely that he will return in time for Vegas’ pivotal matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. Last week, Moreau failed to deliver, though he did flash his potential by securing a 34-yard reception. It was his lone reception on the day, but he should have more opportunities against a Chiefs team that will be hard to keep up with. The game flow will be in Moreau’s favor and the matchup is pretty solid, as the Chiefs are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. When Waller was sidelined for the Raiders’ matchup with the Eagles back in Week 7, Moreau hauled in all six of his targets for 60 yards and a touchdown. We could be looking at similar numbers in Week 14. Moreau has great upside against a Chiefs defense that struggles to contain tight ends, ranking 22nd in touchdowns and 31st in yards per attempt. That said, the second-string tight end does have a relatively low floor. Fantasy owners should expect boom-or-bust results if they are going to roll the dice on Moreau.

TE Evan Engram, New York Giants

Engram has been pretty disappointing all year, however, he did set a season-high with 61 receiving yards against the Dolphins last week. With Jake Fromm expected to make his first start of the season, Engram should be peppered with targets.

We all know that inexperienced quarterbacks love to rely on dump-off passes to their running backs and tight ends. Considering the Chargers allow the seventh-most fantasy points per game to tight ends, Engram is a potentially high-risk, high-reward streaming option.
