Jones upgraded to a limited practice session on Thursday after missing Wednesday due to lingering knee soreness following a massive 23-carry workload in Week 2. With key depth piece Jordan Mason on injured reserve, Jones is locked into the lead-back role atop Minnesota's depth chart as long as he avoids setbacks.

Our projections expect him to lead the backfield with roughly 16 carries and 69 rushing yards against a winless Buccaneers squad. His recent practice progression is encouraging, but fantasy managers must confirm his active status before kickoff before locking him in as a strong start.
