Explosive Second-Year Flashes Provide Deep-League Stash Appeal

Tez Johnson enters his second NFL campaign looking to build on a promising rookie year where he posted 343 receiving yards and six touchdowns. After making splash plays early in camp, a groin injury temporarily halted his momentum, but his recent return to practice reaffirms his standing as primary depth behind perimeter starters Jalen McMillan and Emeka Egbuka.

Fantasy managers have grown cautious, with his ADP tumbling from the mid-400s down past pick 700 over the past month. Our season projections remain tempered, forecasting 20 receptions for 150 yards and three touchdowns in an offense led by Baker Mayfield and established target Chris Godwin Jr.

Rostered in just 2% of leagues, Johnson lacks standalone value out of the gate in standard formats. However, his big-play ability and red-zone knack make him a worthwhile late-round dart in deep leagues and a high-priority watchlist stash if injuries test Tampa Bay's depth chart.
