Red-Zone Dominance Keeps Veteran Wideout in the WR2 Tier Within High-Powered Rams Offense

Davante Adams enters his second season with the Rams, anchoring the outside receiver position opposite Puka Nacua. Operating in a Matthew Stafford-led passing offense, Adams remains a primary focus in the red zone where his elite route-running and release package make him nearly indefensible.

In 2025, Adams led the league with 16 receiving touchdowns despite a modest 923 yards. Our models project some touchdown regression this season, forecasting 65 receptions for 848 yards and nine scores. Even with Nacua sharing targets, Adams' high-value looks offer a stable weekly floor.

Analyzing his draft trajectory in 1.0 PPR formats, Adams' ADP has steadily risen from the mid-50s in May to a recent climb near 28. While his earlier price made him a premier draft-day steal, his current late-third-round cost demands a steeper investment, though his double-digit touchdown upside still justifies the price.
