Jung Hoo Lee is the hottest hitter in baseball, riding a massive hitting streak that makes him an elite weekly play.

Lee has been absolutely on fire, batting .400 (10-for-25) over his last seven days and extending an incredible hitting streak that highlights his elite contact skills. The fourth-place Giants (29-43) welcomed him back from a brief IL stint for a back strain, and he has immediately locked back into his everyday starting role in right field.

While his current .331 season average and recent .480 mark over the last month are boosted by an incredibly hot run, Lee is a legitimate elite contact hitter whose career .266 average is rising rapidly. Our projection expects him to settle around a .263 batting average rest-of-season, but his microscopic strikeout rate keeps his fantasy floor exceptionally high.

San Francisco plays six road games this week, starting with a series against Atlanta where Lee will face vulnerable pitchers Grant Holmes and JR Ritchie before a tougher matchup against Max Meyer in Miami. Given his historic hot streak and favorable matchups, he is an undeniable must-play this week. Verdict: Start.
