Caldwell talks backup RBs
Ameer Abdullah, who missed most of last year with a foot injury, is the team's starting running back, and Theo Riddick, who's still recovering from double-wrist surgery, has proven an effective role player. But Zach Zenner and Dwayne Washington both showed promise in limited reps last year. (Detroit Free Press)
FF Today's Take: Abudllah and Riddick are the clear front-runners in the Lions running back by committee. Both Zenner and Washington had increased value late last season with Abdullah on the shelf with a foot injury. Zenner showed promise in the passing game and would have sneaky PPR value should Abdullah and/or Riddick miss time in 2017.
