Summary
Legette came out of seemingly nowhere in 2023 and exploded onto the scene for South Carolina. After doing next to nothing for the entirety of his college career, he became one of the best wideouts in the country. His film is incredible and he proved to be a physical freak at the 2024 NFL Combine.
This was one of the strangest cases we've seen in a while, however, it's hard to chalk it up to anything other than the fact that he was a late bloomer. It's understandable that some people are skeptical that last year was a fluke, but if you look at his numbers, film and measurables, you can make a case that he is the third-best receiver in this draft.

Our Take
Legette had an uncanny leap in production last season, but it's hard not to love what you see on film. We have him ranked higher than many, nevertheless, there is no reason to believe that he won't continue to improve and polish his game as a receiver. If he can develop and make the most of his physical ability, there is no reason he can't dominate on the next level.
There is some risk with his age and his limited sample size of success, however, his upside is well worth the risk. Odds are he will fall to the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but his name should be called early on Day 2. This is a guy that we could look back on as the steal of the draft and wonder how he fell so far in hindsight.
