Monday's Fantasy Baseball Streamers: Jay Huff, Dylan Harper, and More
Streaming players from three NBA teams with good matchups on Monday.
There are only three games on the NBA schedule today, so it's logical to think that it will be hard to find good streamers. We usually have three target teams, and out of the six in action, we actually have three targets today, just like a normal day.
That won't be the case the next two days: Tuesday and Wednesday each have only two quarterfinal games in the NBA Cup tournament, and the teams involved are of a higher quality, not the type we generally target. We won't have a streaming article again until Thursday.
Let's look at the streaming players from three teams with good matchups on Monday. We will focus on the guys who are widely available in fantasy leagues and can be easily picked up. Most stats are from NBA.com.

Sacramento Kings @ Indiana Pacers
We'll start with a game in which both teams meet our streaming criteria, as Sacramento and Indiana have had rough starts to their respective seasons; these teams are a combined 11-35.
The Kings play at the seventh-fastest pace and have the fifth-worst defensive rating; the Pacers are 10th-fastest and 11th-worst, respectively. Indiana could move out of this range if they improve a little, but Sacramento seems stuck until they get healthy (and even that might not help).
Sacramento Kings
Guard
Schroder has missed the past few games and is questionable for this one, so verify his status before putting him in your lineup. Clifford has gotten more minutes in Schroder's stead, including scoring 15 points in 18 minutes on Saturday.
Monk is the guy you want if Schroder is out, as he scores 13.3 points per game. Schroder is the most productive of the group, though there's also some risk even if he does play.
Forward
Achiuwa plays 20.5 minutes per games and averages 7.4 points and 5.4 rebounds. It's low-level fantasy work, but Achiuwa would have a little extra value if Keegan Murray misses this game (he's questionable), and he can slot in at both center and forward.
Center
A second-round rookie, Raynaud is getting extra minutes with Domantas Sabonis out for an extended period. In four games since Thanksgiving, Raynaud averaged 25.5 minutes, 16.3 points, and 6.5 rebounds per game with at least one block in each contest. He's a decent streamer if you need a center.
Indiana Pacers
Guard
- Garrison Matthews
- T.J. McConnell
- Ethan Thompson
Matthews has scored at least nine points in three games since Thanksgiving, but he is too inconsistent to trust, and he doesn't do much else. McConnell started the season injured but is now back and doing his usual thing, making him a feasible low-level streamer.
Thompson played 34 minutes on Friday after playing 10 combined minutes in the two previous games, which were the first of his career after playing games in the G League each of the past five years. Indiana is dealing with a ton of injuries, and Thompson is a name to watch who might benefit, even if just for a short time.
Forward
Walker and Jackson are both lower-level fantasy players, putting up modest stats in every area. There isn't much consistent production for either guy, so they are better left as deep-league desperation streamers.
Center
Huff is at the top of the depth chart at center for the Pacers, and he is taking advantage and putting up some numbers. In the past nine games (beginning on November 19), Huff played at least 18 minutes in each contest and averaged 11.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game; he is a good streamer at center.
San Antonio Spurs @ New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans are just on the fringe of being a perfect target: while they have the third-worst defensive rating, New Orleans plays at the 14th-fastest pace. Although they fall outside the top 10, the Pelicans are less than one possession per game behind the 10th-place team, essentially fitting into that top group.
Victor Wembanyama hasn't played since November 14th, but he is practicing, so his return should be coming. The only thing that really matters for San Antonio is having their franchise player healthy for the playoffs, so all eyes will be on Wemby's status moving forward.
Guard
Champagnie plays close to 30 minutes per game and averages 10.9 points and 5.3 rebounds. That's decent low-level streamer production from a guy who can slot in at both guard and forward.
Harper missed the beginning of the season but returned in late October and has been putting the ball in the basket, averaging nearly 13 points per game. He is modest otherwise, with 3.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game, but Harper is OK to consider if you need scoring.
Forward
Barnes and Johnson are both averaging around 13 points per game. Johnson is better with rebounds, while Barnes is better with assists and steals. Both guys are low-to-mid-level streamers who can score some points, and Barnes plays nearly 31 minutes per game.
Center
Kornet missed San Anotonio's last game, and he is questionable for this one, so check his status before playing him. He has been getting extra run with Wembanyama out, but even with more time, Kornet hasn't put up many stats.
Sochan is another low-level fantasy player; his best asset is that he can fill in at both forward and center in most leagues.
