Should You Add Precious Achiuwa?
Achiuwa is up 7.1% today and sits at 9.5% overall now.
Achiuwa has appeared in just three games so far this season for the Kings. He had his best outing in his last appearance, totaling 12 points, 10 rebounds and a block over 29 minutes.
That was his first start of the season, and he played just 25 combined minutes in the first two games off the bench. Achiuwa combined for eight points, seven rebounds and a steal in those contests.
Obviously, if he's starting and playing over half of games, his fantasy value will be higher. He's a double-double threat when that's the case, and that makes him a good fantasy asset in a lot of leagues.
Sacramento is without Keegan Murray still, and Domantas Sabonis is also working through an injury, so Achiuwa's role could decrease when those two are back healthy. Even just a healthy Sabonis would decrease Achiuwa's fantasy value.
Until those two are back, Achiuwa is worth some deep-league fantasy action. He could at least be a streaming option, and he isn't a half-bad option in standard leagues either.
Once his value drops off, don't be afraid to move off him. We'll see if Achiuwa earns a larger role moving forward, so he'll be a player to keep tabs on. I see him topping out as a deep-league option, but having standard league streaming value if he continues to play and produce enough.
Should You Add Ace Bailey?
Bailey is rostered in 36.31% of leagues after a 6.98% increase.
Bailey's rookie season has gotten off to a pretty slow start, but he's turned things on the past two games. After tallying 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal over nearly 24 minutes on November 7, he earned a start for Monday's game.
On Monday, Bailey went for 10 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists over 27 minutes.
There's obviously some fantasy value in those numbers, so it's clear to see why he's on the rise. If his production keeps up, you can expect his own percentage to rise quickly.
In 10 games and 193 minutes so far, Bailey is averaging 6.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks per game. He's shooting just 35.3% overall and 18.2% from 3-point land, but is a 91.7% free-throw shooter.
Bailey is an intriguing fantasy asset, as most rookies are. If his role is starting to expand, the Utah 19-year-old could become a good deep-league asset in a hurry. He's worth watching, and that goes for all leagues.
Should You Add Brandon Williams?
Williams has been added in 5.4% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 14.53% overall.
He has been taking on more of late, and his fantasy production is up with extended playing time. Williams has scored in double figures in six of the team's past seven games.
In nine games and 166 minutes overall, Williams has 88 points, 20 assists, 19 rebounds, 15 steals and one block. He's shooting 45.1% overall and just 21.1% from deep.
He started and played 33 minutes in his last game, which was a season high for minutes. Williams has been over 22 minutes in three straight contests, so hopefully he can stick in this expanded role.
Williams is getting a little extra run with Dante Exum and Kyrie Irving out of the lineup right now. Williams' role will likely decrease when those two are back, but for now, he's worth some deep-league fantasy ownership and usage.
Should You Add Anfernee Simons?
Simons is owned in 86.03% of leagues after a 4.78% increase today.
Simons' tenure with the Celtics hasn't lived up to the hype yet. He was owned in all leagues to open the year, but has been steadily dropped over the past couple weeks.
He's starting to turn things around after a three-point showing to start this month. Simons has 15, 18, 11 and 25 points in his four games since, but also hasn't stuffed the stat sheet much else otherwise.
In 11 games and across 283 minutes, he is averaging 15 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.3 blocks. Simons was playing 26 or more minutes in October, but has topped that mark just once this month in five contests.
He's been a good fantasy asset in the past, but coming off the bench and not being a well-rounded player has his fantasy value way down right now. Some might look to buy him low in a trade, but I'd actually be looking to sell him high now, as I don't love his outlook going forward.
Some probably still believe in Simons, so selling him after his 25-point outing makes a ton of sense. If you are desperate for guard help on your fantasy team, it's also fair to add Simons in hopes that he can keep things rolling.
Should You Add Luke Kornet?
Kornet is rostered in 13.41% of leagues after a 4.76% increase.
He returned to the court after missing several games in a row. He posted 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block over 20 minutes on Monday.
Kornet played 15 and 34 minutes in the team's first two games of the season. He's a backup to Victor Wembanyama, but there's enough minutes available for him to be a deep-league option, at least.
He's going to shoot a high percentage, and he has double-double upside if he plays enough. I don't think Kornet will play enough minutes to be worth a standard league spot ever, but he's at least worth watching in case he ever gets there.
I'd be adding the big man in a good amount of deeper leagues today. Kornet would be owned in more leagues if he had played most games this season. Take advantage of his missed time and add a solid fantasy big man for free today.
Should You Add T.J. McConnell?
McConnell is up to 40.22% rostered after being added in 4.16% of leagues today.
He has not played yet this season, but could return on Tuesday. He will be welcomed back with open arms with all the injuries that Indiana has dealt with in the early going.
Among the injured Pacers right now are: Bennedict Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin. That doesn't even include Tyrese Haliburton, who is out for the season, of course.
With Haliburton out, and several other Indiana guards banged up, a fresh McConnell could become a really good fantasy asset in a hurry. There's a reason he's owned in as many leagues as he is already without having played a game yet.
Most expected McConnell to be an improved fantasy guard this season with no Haliburton around. If McConnell can stay healthy going forward, he could be a really good deep-league option, and owned and utilized in a lot of standard leagues as well. At the very least, he would be a standard league streaming option every game.
The team might ease him into action, so don't panic if he struggles a bit when he returns to the court. Stash him and utilize him after he's settled into a role.
Get him added in deeper leagues today, and be ready to pounce if he delivers in his first few games back.
