It's time for our third fantasy basketball waiver wire story of the week!

Here are the writeups from Monday and Tuesday, plus a drop candidate story from Tuesday.

Check out fantasy basketball waiver wire options on FantasySP all season long!

Should You Add Nickeil Alexander-Walker?

Alexander-Walker has been added in 5.41% of leagues and now is rostered in 56.52% of leagues overall.

Alexander-Walker has been a steady contributor over the past three games for the Hawks. In four games overall, he has 63 points, 13 assists, 11 rebounds, five steals, two blocks, four turnovers and five fouls.

Alexander-Walker is 22-of-54 overall so far, while going 9-of-27 from behind the 3-point line. He is 10-of-12 from the free-throw line.

He's started two games and played at least 28 minutes in each contest, which is enough time to be a decent fantasy asset in many leagues. Several Hawks are off to slow starts, so I'm not sure this kind of production will continue for Alexander-Walker.

Until he cools off though, he's worth rostering and playing in all deeper leagues, which is about where he sits right now. He could be streamed in standard leagues in a pinch as well.

I see him as a better deep-league asset over the course of the season though, so don't be afraid to let him go after his fantasy numbers go down.

Should You Add Quentin Grimes?

Grimes had a big game on Tuesday and is up to 70% owned now. He was at 48% back on October 26.

He tallied 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and steals and two blocks over 38 minutes in the overtime win for Philly last night. Grimes was 7-of-17 from the floor, 3-of-10 from deep and made all six of his free throws.

In four games today, Grimes has 71 points, 20 rebounds, 15 assists, three steals and two blocks, while also having 11 turnovers and 15 fouls, so it's not like Tuesday was a breakout showing. He is shooting 42.6% overall, 48.1% from deep and is 85.7% at the free-throw line in the early going.

He's capable of keeping things rolling, but his role and usage could change when Paul George and Jared McCain are back in the mix. Until that point though, he could be utilized in all deeper leagues, and streamed in some standard leagues.

Now wouldn't be the worst time to try to sell high on Grimes, with his most value coming in deeper leagues. Keep an eye on his production, and react accordingly if his usage and production starts dropping.

Should You Add Russell Westbrook?

Westbrook is up 5.14%, bringing his overall mark to 68.84% overall. After a couple down performances to start the year, Westbrook has stuffed the stat sheet the past two games.

In his first two games with Sacramento, Westbrook combined for 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and one steal and block - he played 35 or so minutes. In the last two games, Westbrook has racked up 34 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals, while playing 27 and 30 minutes.

He's shooting 41.5% overall, 50% from deep and is only 4-of-9 on his free throws so far. He has eight turnovers and five fouls.

Sacramento isn't really missing anyone who could affect Westbrook's minutes and usage a ton, so there's a chance he sticks near 30 minutes. If that happens, he's shown he can still stuff the stat sheet.

He definitely needs to be rostered in all deeper leagues, and he's already working back into some standard leagues. I'm not sure if he can do enough each night to ever get to 100% owned, but he is a decent streaming option if you are ever looking for a pickup with a decent fantasy ceiling.

Should You Add Collin Gillespie?

Gillespie is up 9.24% today and sits at 17.39% overall.

He broke out in the last Phoenix game, tallying 15 points, 13 assists, three steals and rebounds and a block over nearly 32 minutes of action in an overtime loss.

Gillespie took advantage of some extra playing time available with Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green out. Brooks is out again for the team's Wednesday game, while Green is questionable. If both are out again, then Gillespie is a decent streaming option in deeper leagues.

In four games and about 96 minutes of action so far, Gillespie has totaled 41 points, 23 assists, 12 rebounds, five steals and three blocks, while having four fouls and seven turnovers. He's shooting 39.5% overall, 35.7% from deep and he made his lone free throw.

There's room on this Phoenix team for some players to step up, but at full strength, I don't see Gillespie doing a whole lot. He's worth tracking in case he proves me wrong, but he looks like a deep-league streaming option until the team is back at full health.

Should You Add Jarred Vanderbilt?

Vanderbilt is rostered in just 4% of leagues, but that's up 3% over the past couple days. Vanderbilt is coming off his best game of the season, so it's fair to see him on the rise.

He tallied 14 points, eight rebounds and three assists and steals over 28 minutes on Monday. Vanderbilt took advantage of some extra minutes available with guys like Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Marcus Smart and Gabe Vincent all out.

Vanderbilt has 25 points, 23 rebounds, eight steals, five assists and two blocks over four games and 87 minutes so far this season. He has seven turnovers and six fouls, while shooting 40.9% overall, not making a 3-pointer yet and going 7-of-8 at the free-throw line.

He's another guy who looks more like a deep-league streaming option until his team gets closer to full health. Vanderbilt has delivered here and there in the past, so he's a name to keep tabs on, but probably not ever see his own percentage rise too high.

Should You Add Mark Williams?

Williams is owned in 94.2% of leagues after a 6.05% increase. He broke out in his last game.

He went for 25 points, 11 rebounds and two steals for the Suns across nearly 31 minutes. Williams had missed the game before that, and tallied eight points, 17 rebounds and two blocks in the first two games combined, so that performance really came out of nowhere.

Williams took on a bit more for that last contest, even though there weren't any players out at his specific position. He's capable of these bigger games, but consistency and availability are his issues.

If he can be a double-double guy most nights, then he should be rostered in most leagues. He's only gotten there once in three tries this season, so I'm not sold on him being that guy.

For that reason, I don't want to see his own percentage get any closer to 100. He has to show me more games like his last one before I'd be all-in.

I'd actually prefer to sell him high, because I don't think he's worth an own percentage that high right now.

Should You Add Aaron Wiggins?

Wiggins also had a big game on Tuesday and now sits at 41.3% overall after a 2.04% increase today.

Wiggins had another nice showing for the Thunder on Tuesday, so he continues to rise as a fantasy asset. He went for 18 points, six rebounds and assists, three blocks and one steal over 34 minutes.

In five games now, he's averaging 14.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.2 steals over 28.8 minutes a contest. Wiggins is shooting 50.2% from the floor overall, 38.9% from deep and hasn't missed a free throw across four tries.

OKC is dealing with a multitude of injuries at the start of the season, and Wiggins is one of the players taking advantage of the extra playing time.

In time, I see Wiggins' role and usage decreasing, so it's a time to possibly sell high in deeper leagues. If you cannot sell him, enjoy the extra fantasy production he's delivering right now, but be ready to move off him once his numbers decrease.
