Outlook Pat Bryant
Pat Bryant sidelined for Week 5 division clash against Chargers
Pat Bryant has been officially ruled out for Week 5 against the Chargers after suffering an ankle sprain against San Francisco. While he was carted off, head coach Sean Payton indicated Bryant should avoid injured reserve, though he is expected to miss a few weeks. Prior to going down, Bryant was seeing his role expand, catching all five of his targets for 91 yards and a touchdown over his previous two games.
With Bryant out, our weekly projections reflect zero fantasy points, making him an obvious bench across all formats. Troy Franklin should absorb extra slot work alongside Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle. Bryant is rostered in just 5% of leagues and can be stashed in deep dynasty formats. Check back often for the latest news and updates on his recovery.
