Outlook Luke McCaffrey

Facing an Uphill Battle for Targets in a Loaded Washington Offense

Luke McCaffrey enters his third NFL season operating as the primary slot receiver for Washington. While he showed glimpses of efficiency in 2025 by converting 15 targets into 203 yards and three scores across seven games, he faces immense target competition. With Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs commanding the boundary, opportunities from Jayden Daniels will be limited.

Our projections anticipate modest involvement, expecting roughly 14 receptions for 221 yards and two touchdowns on 32 targets. Without a clear path to high-volume snaps or consistent red-zone looks, his fantasy upside remains firmly capped in standard and PPR formats.

Fantasy drafters have recognized this crowded hierarchy, sending his ADP tumbling from the mid-400s in July past pick 740 by late August. At this plummeting draft cost and virtually nonexistent roster rate, McCaffrey is off the redraft radar and serves strictly as a deep dynasty stash.
