It's time for our second fantasy basketball waiver wire story of the week! Here is the story from Monday.

Should You Add T.J. McConnell?

McConnell is up 4.92% today, which brings his overall mark to 30.05%.

It's interesting to see him on the rise, as he missed the Pacers' Monday game. McConnell could play tonight against the Bucks though, so some are choosing to add him.

He's been playing between 15-18 minutes of late. In his past five games, McConnell is averaging 9.4 points, 5 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1 steal and 0.2 blocks over 16.8 minutes a contest.

McConnell has 15- and 16-point showings in that five-game span, but combined for just 16 points in the other three contests. He has been filling up the stat sheet pretty well otherwise.

The biggest negative for McConnell's fantasy outlook is his low amount of minutes played. It makes it much tougher for him to get to notable fantasy marks. He's still worth rostering in some deeper leagues, but he might even be a bit over-rostered even now at just 30%.

He's a fine option in really deep leagues, but I'd skip him in more deeper leagues. Check the end of your bench and then the waiver wire to see if McConnell is really worth holding. Right now, I don't see a ton of value in him.

Should You Add Ayo Dosunmu?

Dosunmu is rostered in 35.68% of leagues after a 4.66% bump up today.

Dosunmu recently missed four-of-five games, but has played in the last two Bulls' games. He has logged just 14 and 16 minutes off the bench in those contests, but provided 21 points, four assists and one rebound and steal in his short time on the court.

Again, I don't love the playing time he's getting, but he's producing enough to roster in some really deep leagues. Dosunmu is capable of much more with expanded minutes, but right now, he's just a deep-league option.

He's a decent deep-league streaming option, and I think that's part of the reason why he's on the rise, as Chicago plays Atlanta tonight. But in terms of long-term value, I don't see a ton with Dosunmu.

Don't write him off, but it might take an injury or roster shakeup to get him to a better fantasy situation.

Should You Add Tari Eason?

Eason has been added in 4.65% of leagues, and sits at 51.17% overall.

He got back on the court on Sunday after an extended absence. He played just 15 minutes off the bench, but went for 16 points, three assists and rebounds and a steal.

Over 22.6 minutes in 12 games (one start) this season, Eason is averaging 11.8 points, 5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.4 blocks. He's shooting 51.5% overall and is a stellar 53.6% on his 3-pointers.

He's produced similar averages in past seasons, and those marks are pretty solid ones for fantasy purposes. Eason is more of a deep-league fantasy asset, but after a long layoff, he's available in a good amount of leagues.

I'd be happy to add him in most deeper leagues for the long run, and would at least be streaming him in those deeper leagues as he ramps back up. He'd need to be playing around 24 (or more) minutes a game and producing at a good level for him to be a good standard league asset.

Eason will also need to stay on the court for an extended stretch. He's worth watching for a possible standard league add down the line.

Should You Add Luke Kornet?

Kornet is rostered in 26.76% of leagues after a 4.3% increase so far.

He got an uptick in playing time in the last Spurs' game. Kornet went for 20 points, 12 rebounds and a block over nearly 28 minutes in a start.

He has been playing more and starting since Victor Wembanyama got injured. Wemby still hasn't started since returning to the court, and until that happens, Kornet should have some decent deep-league value.

As a double-double threat, he's worth at least streaming in all deeper leagues, and maybe even some standard leagues. I understand not wanting to hold him, but until Wembanyama is fully back, Kornet seems to be worth the roster spot.

Should You Add Kelly Oubre Jr.?

Oubre has been added in 4.2% of leagues, bringing his new overall mark to 50.23%.

He hasn't played since November 14, but he appears to be nearing a return. Oubre had started the first 12 games of the season for Philly.

He averaged 16.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks over 34.8 minutes in the first 12 games. Oubre is shooting 49.7% overall and he's 34.3% on his 3-point tries.

There's enough in those averages for utilization in a lot of fantasy leagues, but after a long layoff, it's possible he doesn't return to that usage.

I still like adding Oubre today in deeper leagues, just in case he jumps back to being a viable fantasy asset right away. He's worth streaming in standard leagues as well.

If you add him as a streamer, I wouldn't immediately drop him either. If he's producing, just keep him on your roster. There's a chance he returns to his early-season averages, and those can help a lot of fantasy teams out.

Keep an eye on Oubre if you aren't ready to add him today.
